Three years today, just seems like yesterday. The birthday table is getting smaller. You now have auntie Fay to sit at your table. Enjoy. Love vicki

How could we forget this day although you would hate the cold wet weather. Sharing your birthday with dad was your wish, don't forget to toast it with your special glass of wine. Love vicki

Two years today. Your kind of day, hot and no wind. The roses are in full bloom and I have picked a bunch of lavender ones for you. We miss talking to you and sharing our special moments. Party on. Love vicki

Mum, one year gone but today we had a party for you with all your old friends and family. A memorial plaque was attached to a seat in Toni's garden. We had lots of cream and chocolate and lots of wine. Just as you would have liked. Love Vicki

Grandot - I'm not sure what to say today other than we miss your terribly and I hope you get internet in heaven. I figure let's just chat like we used to. I will celebrate today by going to see "Interstellar" at the Chinese Mann. You would have loved this theater - it's the one with all the hand prints outside. The movie is going to be one of those intellectual films that you would always see but say "it went on too long". Since you have been gone Matthew McConaughey is no longer a horrible acting joke. He made some choices with 3 films and a TV show that actually prove he is a decent actor. There is one thing we could never have predicted while you were alive. Who would have ever thought huh? We have sent some of your favorites your way this year, Lauren Bacall, we watched "Key Largo" together with Mamps all those years ago and this year the whole family visited there for a week - it was the best holiday I have ever had! Truly enjoyable and so exotic. We visited Hemingway's house and cats and we talked a lot about you while we were there. Mikey Rooney passed on ... remember when you showed me "The Atomic Kid" when I was just a boy? It was all so funny that I had nightmares after that film. For some reason I found it truly terrifying that Mickey Rooney got caught in a nuclear test site explosion. The film is billed as a comedy! Sadly we sent Robin Williams your way too. That one the whole world felt. He was starting to get dementia and was always battling depression ... very sad ... but at least he will keep you all entertained up there. Anyway back on the ground. Things are going great for me over here work wise. I still love it as much as I always have. I actually have my name on EIGHT films this year. A new record. Most of them things we would never have seen but the kids love them! You never really cared as much about my work as my love life you will be shocked to know that I'm recently single BUT have some great prospects in front of me. Who knows this year could be the year that .... Oh who are we kidding? That line would have brought us both a lot of laughter on the phone. Anyway my favorite old girl - I love and miss you so much. We all talk about you a lot and you will be forever in my life on a daily basis. Lots of Love, Heath
