Dorothy Evans was born August 14, 1934 in Woodbury, Georgia to the late Emmanuel and Alice Wright.  She was a member of Concord CME Church.

 

She leaves behind to cherish her memory, Patricia Jordan of Hollywood, FL and James Edward Alford; and a host of grandchildren, nieces and nephews.  She has one special niece, Barbara Carter of Columbus, Georgia.

 

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Evans;  her son, Sammy Alford; her parents, Emmanuel and Alice Wright; brothers, David Wright, Robert Wright and Emmanuel Wright, Jr.; sister Catherine Williams
