MY MOM, passed away on Wednesday morning, January 22, 2014, at the Lakeview Methodist Health Care Center in Fairmont. Dorothy J. (Miller) Dufour was born on August 8, 1937, in St. Paul, MN.  She was the daughter of Edwin and Alice (Miller) Miller.   In 1955, Dorothy was united in marriage to Ronald Dufour in St. Paul.  The couple resided in St. Paul for a while before moving to Chicago, IL, where Dorothy worked as a waitress until her retirement in 2002.  Dorothy and Ronald separated after 12 years.  Dorothy later met and became engaged to Bill Taylor before he passed away.  Dorothy met Martin Solberg in Chicago, IL and they have been together for 38 years.  Dorothy lived in Chicago, IL for 40 years before moving to Fairmont, MN with Martin.  During her free time, Dorothy enjoyed playing B.I.N.G.O. and scratching off lottery tickets. Left to cherish her memory include her son, Charles (Patricia) Dufour of Fairmont, MN, and their children, Heather, J.R., Richie, Lisa Segura, Jessica, and Andrew; daughter, Lisa (Armando) Rivera of Fairmont, MN, and their children, Marilyn and Carlito; son, David Dufour of Fairmont, MN; daughter, Laila Dufour of Chicago, IL; special friend, Martin Solberg of Fairmont, MN; and other relatives and friends.  Along with her parents, Edwin and Alice Miller, Dorothy was also preceded in death by her fiancé, Bill Taylor; her son Marty Dufour and brother, Donald “Butch” Miller.
