My Momma
She was born to a simple way of life in Norton, Virginia, in 1939. The baby of the family. She was a church going little girl and continued through her life to keep God first. She taught Sunday school as a little girl there were many children in her class, that I am sure she left a mark upon. Her childhood at times was rough because her om wanted to keep her at home, she met my Dad and they planned a get away wedding along with her brother, sister-in-law, her sister, her brother-in-law. They did it although I heard the wedding cake got dropped on the railroad tracks. Mom and Dad had the 3 of us. Me, the oldest, my sis in the middle, and my baby brother. She taught us much over the years even though we may not have realized it. Thank you Momma. I love you!! I miss you so very, very much!!!! But, I know you are in beautiful place.
