My sincerest condolences to the family. Sharing in your sorrow. Mrs. Lige was a wonderful person -- kind, loving, giving. She gave me a blanket for my bed that she personally hand-crocheted; it was beautiful! To her family, take comfort in knowing the lives she touched (in those children at Spaulding School) where she worked and those others, like myself, who were blessed to have known her.  Too, take comfort in the lessons she gave and the love she showed. She will be sorely missed.

Mrs. Dorothy Lidge
I have so many fond memories of Mrs. Dorothy Lidge. So many years I visited her home visiting her daughters Cornelia and Dorothy Jean Lidge. So many years I was welcomed to eat from their fruit trees in their yard. She was always involved in our schools down through the years. She was so kind to me and a very good friend of my Mother Mattie Whitehead Edwards. There were times my Mother would say she would talk to Mrs. Lidge everyday, such a good family friend.
Praying for her children Cornelia, Helen and Alfred whom she loved so very much and all of her family and friends.
We loved your Mother!!!!!!
