Her Life

Dorothy Ann Streeter was born on April 14, 1955 in Bullock County, Alabama to the late Hosie and Rosie Lee Streeter. She had three brothers (all of whom preceded her in death), Lonnie Streeter, Willie Clarence Streeter, and James Otis Streeter; one brother-in-law John Webb (whom also preceded her in death). Dorothy was baptized at an early age at Oak Grove Baptist Church in Midway, AL where she was a member until she was called home.


Dorothy spent her life as a caregiver, caring for her late parents and her baby sister, Lessie Pearl. She was a devoted daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend until our Heavenly father called her home on April 6, 2015 at Bullock County Hospital in Union Springs, Alabama.


Dorothy leaves to cherish her memories three children, William Curtis Streeter of Montgomery, AL; Craig Dupree (Doris) Streeter of Midway, AL and Fallen Nicole Streeter of Midway, AL; also three children she helped reared as her own, Otis Dwayne Streeter of Midway, AL; Felicia (Melvin) Daniel of Eufaula, AL and Charlene Streeter Reed of Lagrange, GA; Four sisters: Julia Mae Streeter of Detroit, MI, Rosia Webb of Trenton, NJ, Sally (James) Fowler of Montgomery, AL and, Lessie Pearl Streeter of Midway, AL; two grandchildren: Catera Turner and Jamarien Streeter; two sisters-in-law: Barbara Streeter of Trenton, NJ and Joann Streeter of Midway, AL; five aunts: Sally Bea Terry of Troy, AL, Jeanette Stewart of Plant City, FL, Cordia Moore of New York, Mattie B. Ellis and Florilla King both of Montgomery, AL; and a host nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. She also leaves to cherish her memory one special friend, Ronnie Eford.
