Love of Family

July 12, 2013

I have always admired my Aunt Dorothy's beauty, sharp tongue, wit and love of family. There has never been a major family event that I have have attended that she was not a part of...she was the one that would always show up, sharp as a tact, smile on her face and love in her eyes. It was a joy to spend time with her during the planning of Washington, Winston & Lyons 2012 family reunion, she never missed a meeting. I loved our side chats/private talks and the wisdom she often shared. We shared a love of "good food" and laughter... I'm happy that you gave me your stamp of approval for my lemon~pound cake...sorry I was unable to bake you one last one before you were called home. R.I.P. my sweet, sassy auntie, R.I.P.

Love,

Cyndy
