Still think about you buddy
I was truly sad to hear of your loss. I enjoyed seeing picture of the two of you in your travels. I said to myself that 'they are living a good life!'
My deepest sympathies.
So sorry to see Doug's obituary in the Pass Herald. But thank you for doing that. He was always a pleasure to know and work with in the Forestry at the Crowsnest Pass. He was always upbeat and good to be around! I'm sure you will miss him sooo much as will everyone that was a friend or aquaintance. May The Lord bring you comfort and peace and wrap His loving arms around you at this time of great loss! Love and Much Blessing - Debby Brown
With heartfelt sympathy,
The Mitchell and Desta Family
This past week, my mother, who is 90 years old, and I shared some stories with Jim Baker about "those guys". I come from a family of five girls, and for many years, on Christmas eve prior to midnight Mass, the guys would show up at our house and enjoy libations and lots of laughs.
A couple of years ago, we all had the opportunity to re-connect here in Regina. It was timely, as now John and Jim have both left us. My sincere condolences to the family. Your Doug was a good man.
Until we meet again, with Love, Bob
We send love and hugs

To Our Dear Friend Doug
From the first time we met Doug, we always enjoyed our time with him. We will truly miss him on our trips to the BVJ in Camrose, where he showed me there is a God. Because we were on our way to the Bowl and it was quite a walk, he was getting thirsty and stated "Oh Man if there was a Beer God he would have a beer for me here", and we walked another 5yds and there it was a can of beer on the road. Doug will always be a cherished Friend we will miss. We truly enjoyed our trips to BVJ and the CFR. To Doug, I pray you are enjoying meeting the Beer God, Jim and Flora
My Earliest Memory of My Dad
My earliest clear memory of my father is one I will always treasure. When I was small I was known to be a daddy's girl. I liked to cuddle with him and sit on his lap. I remember one night I had a bad dream. I went down to my parent's bedroom to find some comfort and get back to sleep. My dad pulled me up into the bed and we slept tummy to tummy with my head on his chest. It was like sleeping on a soft, cozy hill. To this day I can remember the feeling of warmth and safety that came from being with my daddy.
