I have just found out about Doug, (03-24-14) when I found out I was shocked. I had a feeling of sadness, but at the same time a feeling of anger that someone like Doug would have to leave this world at such a very young age. I knew him from the Home Depot in Vero Beach FL. Doug and I shared some good moments for the short time that I knew him. I had complete respect for Doug. He was kind he did not discrinate on anyone or anybody. He was also a very smart man, I know that he will be missed by many, I for one was very saddened to hear this news about a Wonderful Human Being. Doug may your memories live on for Eternity!!!

To the funniest, loving,outgoing man I know Daddy Filmore I'm going to miss you! From the day I met Daddy Doug he had me laughing and I never left without a smile. He's been a good friend to me and everyone he has encountered. Daddy I'm sure your making Jesus and everyone laugh up there. Be good and I will see you when it's my love ya :-*

I really don't know what to say except that I am so thankful that you and I spoke on that rainy day of Aug. 11th. What a shock it was and a tearful one to say the least!! You had me and Candy laughing with your goofiness that everyone knows so well. Thank you for being a part of my life and may you soar with the eagles in the mountains of the Smokies Doug Funnie. Dear Daddy,
I am so grateful for having such an amazing loving father. Growing up, your girls knew how much you loved them. So much of you will live on through me and my own children. I am so sorry for you loss. I remember when we were little and your dad was always outside working on something. I remember the awesome loft beds that he had made in your rooms when u lived in town. He will be greatly missed but has beautiful daughters and other family and friends that will carry on his life with his memories. All my love and prayers for you all. Xoxo
