I will never forget this woman. I often think of her and miss her very very much. I can’t even imagine how her family feels. She was such a hard worker and such a joy to be around. I don’t even think she knew how naturally hilarious she was. She helped me through some of my toughest adolescent years and she will always live in my heart. I long to see her again in paradise. May peace and love be with her family and friends.

Debbie was one of a very fun group of women (10 of us!) who hiked to the bottom of the Grand Canyon together several years ago.  She was so worried about making it or holding the group up.  But as it turns out she was so determined not to do that  that she was the first one to the bottom and the first one to the top!  We had a lot of fun and a lot of laughs on that trip!

Debbie was raised, in part, at Camp Eberhart where she will be remembered by many. She grew up to be a doctor - but in her youth - we all went barefoot, rode in the back of pickup trucks, had fun all the time, made friends that lasted a lifetime, and always, always smiled when the words "Camp Eberhart" were mentioned. We handed down our love of the place to our children. Debbie will be missed by her Camp family, which is just a small part of her life - but an important one for all of us that knew her.
