Your mother was friends with my mother, and Molly is friends with my sister. I met Debbie only a few times. She did make me laugh when I was around her, I mean, not on purpose, but she did funny things. There was this one time I stayed at the family home, I can't remember why, probably was on my way somewhere and I was somewhere between point A to point B. But, Debbie came home and was talking and such, and she put her hands in her pockets, felt something strange by the look on her face, pulled it out, and it was a cordless computer mouse from work. She said, "uh oh, they might be looking around for this at work." I died laughing. Anyways, more recently, she gave me the most valuable comment I've ever received from a doctor. I had made a fb response about controlling a patient's pain through relaxation and breathing techniques, rather than through medication, and she said she was proud of me for being a positive patient advocate. That moved me and meant so much to me because usually doctors ignore the pions in the workplace. I was so honored.
I am so very sorry for your loss. Her life ended too soon. My heart is with you all.
