TRIBUTE TO MY  HUSBAND:  DR. JAMES I. NDUKWU

As we mourn the passing of my beloved husband Dr.. James Ikechi Ndukwu, we also take consolation in the precious gift of a fulfilled  life he lived with us here on earth. We are also consoled knowing .that he lived a devoted Christian life without compromising his faith.

The  scripture according to -Hebrews 9:27 says “And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this, the judgment:” King James Version (KJV). Because everyone knows that death is an unavoidable appointment that awaits all of us someday.  Today! James  has completed his earthly kingdom race. My husband transitioned to eternity on April 15th ,2019 after a protracted illness sin Oct 18th, 2011, He tried everything he could to fight this terrible terminal illness to the end.

Dr. James  Ndukwu left a legacy of love and integrity with his family and those who knew him. He has left behind wonderful memories of a loving husband, brother ,uncle ,friend and a father. We were grateful for each and every day we saw his glowing smile and white teeth.

James loved education and believed in attainment of advance education. He had a doctorate degree and was a mathematics school teacher in New York City. he was very proud of his academic achievements  and this is a value he had instilled in all of our children as well. He was selfless gentleman who would inconvience himself to assist anybody he could. He was sensitive to the feelings of his fellow human being. Indeed, he lived a life of generosity and friendliness to all, and enemity to nobody.

He was hard working  and had a clever sense of humor. Above all, he had always  wanted anyone around him to set  higher goals ,achieve more success and discover the security and happiness that is within us. Until his death, he  loved and cherished his extended family members both at home and abroad despite his health challenges.  We will miss him more than words can express. We love you but God loves more.

May your gentle soul rest in the bosom of our Lord Jesus Christ until the resurrection morning where we shall part no more.

Tribute to my beloved Father – Dr. James Ndukwu
My father is a man like no other man. He brought me into this world. He nurtured, taught, and dressed me. He held me, fought for me, shouted at me, kissed me, and most importantly loved my siblings and me unconditionally. He was always there for me. He inspired me and instilled great values on me. There are not enough words to describe how wonderful my father was to me and what a powerful influence he continues to be. I miss you, Dad!
I cannot stop death, but your memories will continue to live on, in us forever. Rest in peace.
I love you, Daddy!

Dr. James Ndukwu, you had left a vacuum that nobody can fill. You would be missed.

April 27, 2019
Words were inadequate to describe my shock on getting that phone call that Dr. James Ikechi Ndukwu has passed on the early morning hours of April 15th, 2019. It took me some time to recover from the shock. I was surprised and in denial wondering whether indeed James Ndukwu was not dead but sleeping. At last, James was not sleeping but dead. Hours passed, days passed, and James Ndukwu did not wake up, and it made me believe that James Ikechi was dead. As humans often ask, why so sudden exit? It is only God that has the answer to this personal question.
He was a husband, father, brother, uncle, and ardent Christian. James was loving, compassionate and amiable. These exceptional attributes endeared him to all that came across him. Dr. James Ndukwu was a former employee of the New York Board of Education. He was a great Math teacher who made a difference in people’s lives one student at a time.
Your death has left a vacuum too heavy to be filled. I love you, but God loves you most. I will miss you. Dr. James Ndukwu may be gone, but his memory will live on in us forever. Rest in perfect peace. Amen.
