Obituary

May 24, 2016

Kimberlly Michelle Buck, 50, of Bonita Springs, Florida passed away on Sunday, May 15, 2016 at her residence.

Born on March 14, 1966 in Logansport, she was the daughter of the late Nancy (White) Rife.

She was a 1984 graduate of Pioneer High School in Royal Center.

Kim completed her undergraduate Psychology degree with honors and highest distinction at Indiana University Kokomo and she then went on to earn her doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology from the University of Louisville.  Kim had an uncanny ability to inspire people in a deep and positive way.   She was a brilliant psychologist and a savvy, hard-working entrepreneur, who owned her own private practice as well as a research and statistical consultation company.  Kim lived life to the fullest despite the physical obstacles caused by “Kicking Cancer’s Ass” through simple pleasures such as:  hosting fabulous parties, cooking, traveling, trying new recipes, singing and writing music.

She is survived by her daughter, Heather Gerlach (Cape Coral, FL), son, Aaron Buck (Bloomington, IN), partner, Tonya Achenbach (Fort Myers FL), sister, Cathy Buck (Cicero, IN) and brother, Chris Fogle (Farwell, MI).

Family, friends and others whose lives Kim touched are invited to attend graveside services at Kistler Cemetery (546 West 625 North, Royal Center, IN. 46978) on Sunday, May 29, 2016 at 1:00 PM.

A memorial social gathering will follow at Amelio’s On The River (431 South Fifth Street, Logansport, IN. 46947) at 2:30 PM to celebrate and honor Kim’s fabulous fifty years on earth, her pain-free, heavenly eternity with her Father, and to reminisce, grieve and support each other.
