Dr Amole will act as a father first before as Doctor. He takes his time to listen, to explain; to one’s understanding and also reassures. Going to see him is like being healed already, One feels safe and knows he’ll be getting the best medical attention. This is painful but God knows best.

I remember when I first met Dr Amole in 2012. I immediately felt safe, heard, seen and understood. A fantastic man of medicine with a large capacity for compassion. He was a gifted, kind and professional healer who changed my life completely. I am eternally grateful to him for his contribution to the person that I am today. An irreplaceable and unforgettable worker for the kingdom. He died on my birthday and I will remember him fondly for a very long time. God bless his eternal soul.

Dear Sir, you will forever be missed because you taught me what I did not learn in medical school. You taught me humility, dedication, Faith and meekness. People refer you to as London GP cos they felt like they were speaking to a Doctor that hears and understands them.

You took care of my family as if it was yours.
Thank you sir for your love and dedication to the medical practise in Nigeria and beyond.
You are going to be missed.

Dr. Amole, you were really a vessel of honour unto God. You combined your profession with your spiritual morals.
I don't really know what to write about you. You were so passionate with your profession, so caring, compassionate and humble.
May your soul rest in perfect peace and may the good Lord watch over the family you left behind. I pray Lister Hospital will continue with your good works in Jesus name.

I was so shocked about Dr Amole’s passing into glory. He still referred patients to me quite recently.
He was such excellent doctor and senior colleague.
He goes to all length to care for his patients.
His documentation on patients were excellent.
Very soft spoken, patient, diligent and hardworking.
I will really miss him greatly.
Adieu sir. Rest In Peace.

TRIBUTE TO AN EXCEPTIONAL MEDICAL PRACTITIONER.
Dr. Adeniyi Amole was a medical practitioner par excellence. He was more than a doctor to my family and many of his patients. He was a friend, brother, father, grandfather, an uncle, a counsellor and a confidant to many he didn't even have blood ties with. He was very dotting on all he came across. He was a service to God and humanity, a true child of God, he does the medical work as far as he could and calls on God to perfect the rest. He depended on God for absolute power. He was always willing to give a helping hand to all. He was very considerate and compassionate to ensure good healthcare is affordable to many.
Your untimely demise is a big blow to my family as you made medical advice easy and accessible to us. From where do we start now....
We pray that The Comforter, Jesus Christ will comfort your family especially your aged mother, wife and children.
May your gentle soul rest in perfect peace. We will meet again at the feet of Jesus where we will part no more.
Adieu! Adieu!! Adieu!!!

Ha!! Dr Amole!
To God be the glory.
It has been nothing short of a privilege, a great privilege, to know you.
Writing this tribute is difficult, the words don’t seem enough.
I know now what it means to be heaven-sent, because that’s what you were, an angel, sent from heaven above, to bring comfort, help, succor, strength, kindness, love to everyone you met, whether young or old, man or woman.
Thank you doesn’t seem enough either but thank you, for all you shared which was always more than medicine.
May every reward be poured out on your family today in the name of Jesus Amen.
We will celebrate you, we choose to celebrate your exemplary life.
Thank you again. Rest well in the bosom of our Lord God Almighty in Jesus name Amen

Tribute to Dr Adeniyi Amole 1951 t0 2021
Dr Adeniyi Amole was a medical doctor of note, a Consultant General Surgeon for that matter. He became our family doctor nearly two decades ago. Dr Amole was so interested in human beings that he easily got to one's root and the root of one's health status. He got to know us very well. He was always relaxed and had a life story to share. He was a straight forward, sympathetic, humane, down-to-earth medical practitioner. His bill was never his priority, but his patients' wellness and wellbeing.

Our family became so attached to his professionalism that merely mentioning that one was visiting him means that our health complaint was 70% resolved. Our relationship extended to our siblings, parents and family. We all followed him wherever he moved his office during the period. My family grew up under his care, and we all would continue to cherish him. He used to tell us about how he would ensure his aged mum's care, whom he visited in Ibadan monthly. Some years ago, Dr Amole instantly accepted our invitation to honour a late colleague who died during childbirth. He was the guest speaker at the fund raising event to help her three children. He delivered a powerful speech that covered the prevention of such an occurrence both by the patient and the medical personnel. The speech was so brilliant that the fund raised was sufficient for the children upkeep till now. The children are currently doing well in the United States of America. In these days of greed, worship and preference for money, Dr Amole was exceptional; when our aunty- in-law died abroad, her body was flown into Lagos from Toronto late in the night, Dr Amole volunteered his ambulance to take the corpse to Ibadan free of charge, though they never met.

He was an exemplary achiever, a very brilliant and intelligent gentleman. His professional experience locally and internationally is usually handy when one met with him. He gave us hope always. He confronted some epidemics frontally in his professional callings, such as Cholera and Ebola. He never ran away when anyone needed him. A good friend in need he was to all.

Alas, a great man is no more and we know that it will be challenging to meet his like again, but we are ever grateful to him for his care and professionalism. We wish the family the fortitude to bear the loss.
Adieu Dr Amole, our Doctor, Doctor of all Doctors. May his gentle soul rest in perfect peace of GOD (Amen).

Dr. Mrs. S.A. Babatunde for the Babatundes.

A tribute to my dear Uncle and angel earth!
Uncle Niyi was a renowned Surgeon, loving Father to many and the kindest person I know! There weren't many like you anymore. You were a father to us and a brother indeed to my mom. I learnt so much about my Dad from you and you always took time to counsel Gbolaro and I each time we saw. Fore and Ara knew you as Grandpa and will miss you very much.

My very own Guardian Angel who saved my life on three different occasions, no thanks to the prevalent medical negligence in Nigeria.

To say this isn't heart wrenching is a lie, to say I understand this, isn't true.

Uncle you were kind to the very end literally.

You touched lives, made impact on humanity, left an amazing legacy and brought glory to the Amole name.
Uncle Niyi, you fulfilled purpose.

We love you and will miss you sorely!

Rest in peace Dr Niyi Amole! ️
May your gentle soul rest in peace!
Amen.

The news of Dr Amole’s was very shocking, it is still hard to come to terms with. It is also humbling realising how death indeed does not respect profession or age, since the saviour of several souls can himself be taken away from us so so early. May the good Lord grant your kind and gentle soul eternal and peaceful rest Sir, in Jesus name. Amen.

A-Neggy Neggy! That’s what your ‘Bestos’ called you. They introduced us in 2001 when I had a surgical emergency. And since then you have been part and parcel of my Medical history. I referred everyone to you and you treated them like family. You made everyone feel special. That gentle voice and twinkling eyes, was like Father Xmas came alive. DrAmole, a fine Surgeon, a Fine Gentleman. How I will miss you. Humble and selfless to a fault. And you paid the ultimate sacrifice. You laid down your life for a brother. What is more Christlike? You are definitely on Gods right hand. We pray that we may also make heaven. We will miss you but your legacy lives on. Rest in perfect peace.

Words aren't enough to express my feeling about your demise(still can't comprehend it). Like I told you on one of your birthdays that you are a hero, my hero, our hero, you are good at what you do, one of the best doctors of all time. The love you showed me and my family are second to none. I take consolation in the fact that you are resting in the blossom of the Lord where there is no stress. You were such a kind and loving father, Emmanuella, your Aduke and I will miss you. I will cherish those encounters I had with you for life. Rest on hero, rest on doctor, rest in peace Daddy.

A great man has passed on. He was a great surgeon. He had a lot of empathy for his patients. He was always up to date as he researched for latest techniques. He was very humble and kind and always made sure that his patients were at ease before any procedure. He was loved by all his patients and anyone that had any interactions with him. He served God diligently and found time to minister to those in correctional facilities. That man is Adeniyi Amole. Dr.Amole was a surgeon par excellence. We loved him and will miss him greatly. May his soul rest in peace.

Dr. Adeniyi Adeyemi Amole was a brilliant and an excellent Surgeon who was so passionate with his profession that he hardly takes a break. I remember some occasions that people were telling him to relax more instead Baba work tirelessly without thinking of retirement. Baba Amole runs his hospital as if is an NGO, he doesn't give a damn about money , he just want to save lives!
If you have the opportunity to meet with Baba once, you will be mesmerized with his compassion, calmness, openness and soothing manner he will attend to your medical need.
I am privileged to known Baba for 15 years and have never for once seen him angry or upset about anything. Some people called him a Saint of course I can't agree less because he possessed all the attributes of a Saint.
It's hard to forget someone who gave you so much to remember. Your exemplary character, humility, courteousness, selflessness, thoughtfulness and magnanimous gesture will never be forgotten.
Baba Amole, we know you're in a better place where there is no sorrow and pain and we are comforted that heaven gained another angel.
We love you deeply but Jesus love you more, till we meet and part no more. The hardest part is to bid you goodbye but I will prefer to say goodnight Baba Daadaa .

TRIBUTE TO A GOOD MAN: DR. ADENIYI AMOLE [Neggi]

It is so hard to assimilate why and that a good person has gone to be with the Lord so soon.

To say that Dr. Niyi Amole was a good man is saying again what everyone who ever had an encounter with him either as a friend, an individual or in his professional role, experienced.

He loved what he was doing and paid the ultimate price for his love for his fellow human being.

He was compassionate, knowledgeable, intelligent and would make you understand what your challenges were, what medications to use and to take it in your stride as one of the things that come with age, whilst making himself an example.

The last time my wife consulted with him, she had booked an appointment with him, the day prior, but she was stuck in traffic very close to Lister Medical Centre, she eventually had to walk there, but he waited for her though it was past his closing hour, and thereafter refusing to accept his consultation fees, even after much argument and threats not to come again. He just said, "Next time".

Following is the an extract of a conversation with my wife after:

Funmike [28/11/2020, 05:21]:

Good Morning my Dear Brother

E k'aro O! A jire bi?

I just want to say

THANK YOU
for waiting to consult with me and even for free.

May our Lord continue to bless and keep you and all your loved ones in Jesus Mighty name.

Olorun a ma d'abo bo yin. Apo yin o ni gbe. E ma ri alanu pade.

Have a blessed and wonderful weekend

[28/11/2020, 05:33] Dr. Niyi Amole Neggi:

It is an honour and a privilege for me to be consulted by you and your husband. I'm reminded of my happy childhood. I just pray God gives you both good health and long life. Amen. Have a great weekend.

"That is Neggi."

He loved his God, wife, mother, children all those around him. He always spoke of them lovingly.

We pray that, all the blessings that come from all he has done and all the people he has touched for good will be showered on his wife, children and all his loved ones by the grace of God.

We pray that our Lord will bless his soul and comfort Jumoke, Mama, his Children and all his loved ones.

May we all be comforted that he rests in the bosom of the Lord.

May his sweet, kind, loving and gentle soul rest peacefully with our God of love. Amen

To know Dr. Amole is to know love. He lived, breathed and died for love. Love for God, love for his profession, love for his family, love for humanity and I dare say, love for even those who treated him wrong. Your life is a lesson. You shared freely and gave tirelessly but expected nothing in return. What a privilege it is to have known you and what a mighty challenge you've left for us all to follow suit.
May your sweet, kind, loving and gentle soul rest peacefully with our God of love. Amen

WHEN DO WE MEET AGAIN, UNCLE NIYI ?
UNTIL WE MEET AGAIN.
I am so indebted to you Uncle Niyi.
For all the love, advice, and encouragement to me and my family, am grateful.
My Uncle and Daddy, you saw road where others see blockade. You saw possibilities where others see impossibilities. You saw success where others see failure. You found energy where others are tired. You gave joy and happiness to all and sundry.
So short a time here with us. We will miss you so much.
God saw more of you, He had a greater plan. We will never forget you.
You'll always live in our heart, and with you smiling down on us, we will never part.
One day the tears will stop, and the hurt we feel may end, but you will always live on in our hearts. We shall meet once more, to part no more.
Your smile we will see again. You've just started what we all long for, A life in heaven that has no end. And though the world is a little darker without you to light up our days, we will see you smile forever in the twinkling stars and shining sun's rays.
Uncle, we think about you always, We talk about you still.
You have never been forgotten, And you'll never will. We can never forget you.
We hold you dear and close within our hearts, And there you will remain,
to walk and guide us through our lives.
There are truly NO words to explain the tremendous loss your unexpected and sudden call to rest brought to us.
And though I'm full of sadness that you're no longer here, your influence still guides me, And i still feel you near.
Wherever you are in Paradise, you are gone but will NEVER be forgotten.
Uncle, you won't have wished to go, but the best one can do is to keep on living and praying, knowing fully well that even in the midst of life, we are in death.
The fact that you're no longer here will always cause me pain, but you're forever in my heart, and these special memories of yours will always bring smile.
Some people only knew you loved me and never knew why i was so fond of you. You loved me so much so, that you frankly talked to me the way it is. Sometimes i cried, sometimes i did not. Nobody knew you intercepted and did all humanly possible to save me from committing suicide when i thought all hopes were lost. You drew me closer to you and promised not to let me take the ungodly and unholy stride. How can i ever forget you. I shall forever remember and be grateful to you.
I have since resigned myself to fate and the Unquestionable God who loves you more before calling you to His side.

"ACROSS THE BRIDGE, THERE'S NO MORE SORROW
ACROSS THE BRIDGE, THERE'S NO MORE PAIN
THE SUN WILL SHINE ACROSS THE RIVER
AND YOU'LL NEVER BE UNHAPPY AGAIN".
                                   > JIM REEVES <
May the souls of the departed through the mercy of God rest in peace, Amen.
Until we meet again, my beloved uncle 'Niyi, REQUIESCANT IN PACE PERFECTA.

What words can I use to describe a man whose command of the English language made every one pay attention to every word he spoke. Your grace guided us in steady pace. Forever the professional, I was in awe of your presence, accomplishments and selflessness. God has truly blessed any person who was lucky enough to have had you in their lives. God bless you sir and for your family our thoughts, love and prayers will remain with them.

A thorough bred professional. He was introduced to us by my sister's bosom friend, Isioma Okoh. The first time my mother met him for consultation, she said mere talking to her, Dr Amole, gave her so much attention that she felt like she had known him all her live. She kept saying great things about him. I had to take her to the hospital just to meet Dr Amole too. I was extremely impressed by his attention and kindness. Such a terrible loss. May the Lord console the whole family.

I know you are resting in heaven. Greet my mum for me.

It feels like a short dream. It all happened so quickly. We thought Niyi would survive the ordeal. My wife and I grieved like we never did and for a moment life lost its value. But we had to remind ourselves that " From God we came and unto HIM we shall return".
Neggi as he was fondly called from our medical school days was simply a phenomenon. He was an extremely selfless person, generous to a fault and a fine gentleman. A man of conscience, an exemplary doctor and dependable ally. He kept no malice and he was very convivial.Neggi had a visceral relationship with virtually all his classmates and would rise up to attend to the needs of any;even if unsolicited, unless he was not aware.
He was a responsible husband, father and grandfather.
As it is with mortals, little did we know that his sun would set when it did. We shared plans on how to live our "lives after total commitment to the care of others". We talked of the need to live life after actively serving mankind as it is with the practice of medicine as we were taught. Alas,we forgot that God has HIS own plan. That God wanted Neggi to spend his entire life serving Him through service to humanity. What a superior narrative!
I would want his family, particularly his wife and soulmate to find comfort in this.
May his selfless and gentle soul rest in peace. May God comfort his mother and the entire Amole family.

My family and I were introduced to Dr. Amole by my friend,
Mrs. Kemi Salami. My late Dad was then very ill and we had
been to several hospitals who were only interested in money
not about the patient getting better. After our first consultation
with him we were hooked for life. And for the first time my
Dad was comfortable and happy to talk to him. My Dad was a
difficult patient and Dr. Amole just knew what to say and how
to get to him. My Dad got better in no time through the Grace
of God and Dr. Amole’s care

When my Dad was eventually diagnosed with 2 types of cancer
(prostate and colon) several years later, Dr. Amole
recommended immediate surgery to nip them in the bud since
they were still in their early stages, but his fellow Drs whom
we were referred to for some necessary tests said given my Dad’s age he
would never survive the surgery. In fact, they said he wouldn’t
come out alive from the theatre. But by God’s grace again, he
did not only survive almost 8 hours of surgery but lived 8 more
healthy and happy years, under the management of Dr. Amole
and his team. He passed away in 2015 at 88 years.

Dr. Amole was a family Doctor made in heaven. He would
explain complicated medical terms to you in such a way that
even a 5-year-old would understand and begin to feel better
immediately. He will be sorely missed; my Mum is
inconsolable and asking who she will be seeing now.

May the soul of Dr. Amole rest in peace. I pray God to grant
his wife and children the fortitude to bear his loss. May they gain comfort in knowing he has gone to a better place.

According to Don Moen in his song "When it's all be said and done" (at the end of a person's life) there is just one thing that matters - Did the person do his/her best to live for truth did he/she live his/her life for God. I write this tribute on behalf of The Obashoro Family.
Dr. Adeniyi Amole, Broda Neggi, as we called him, lived for truth and lived his life for God. He was a friend of our eldest brother but he took us all and treated us as family. For all who knew him in close quarters he was the closest thing to an Angel, caring, humble, compassionate, helpful, committed, reliable and dependable.
Until the very end he was concerned about the welfare of others.
We mourn the transition of a very good man, an excellent doctor, a true friend, who sticks closer than a brother. We mourn with hope and with the assurance that he completed the assignment given to him by the God he served diligently and with commitment and has gone to rest with Him. We are consoled that he has gone to a better place. He will always be remembered for all the good he did for very many people. Rest well Broda Neggi. Heaven rejoices as you join the Saints Triumphant.

Dr. Amole was a rare breed. For people like me wih a fear of hospitals, he made me so comfortable and eased my fears. Every time i had to go to the hospital, it felt like i was speaking with my dad and not my doctor. So the news of his passing felt like i had lost a family member because this was indeed who he felt like over the years, a part of the family. He is even more amazing as this feeling was not peculiar to me and my family but all that i have now become aware knew him as well.

I thank you Dr. Amole for the care that you showed us all. I pray your soul rests in perfect peace. May the Lord comfort and strengthen your family.

Am completely short of words and devastated by the Passing of Dr Amole.
I have been using Lister many years now from the GRA days.
Dr Amole is the best Doctor I know he is gifted knowledgeable , up to date, kind , compassionate and has a way of giving you cautious optimism about outcomes that in turn gives you the patient peace and confidence. This is unique to him.

I also cannot put his kindness into words on several occasions I have had to call him to thank him at the insistence of family and friends who had recieved kind and excellent treatment from him.
( " Kemi bami pe Dr Amole ko dupe lowo won fun mi ")

I referred almost all my friends and family to Lister and they in turn referred.

On hearing of the passing of Dr Amole a friend I had somehow lost touch with called and said "Kemi I can never forget you introducing us to Dr Amole when my father had a health crisis. "

One of my siblings said " Kemi a lot of Nigerians will be hurt by this news "

Many more stories like this......

From our many conversations over years I learnt he us dedicated family man.

The way he managed my children too one of them opted to have a particular procedure done at Lister by Dr Amole rather than abroad where they where now schooling in 2014

I deeply commiserate with Mrs Amole and thier Children , his siblings, all the family and friends
Dr Yussuf and all the Lister staff and family. Also the Nigerian medical community.

May the Lord uphold and comfort you all the way only he can. May he grant you peace that passes all understanding.

Much love
Oluwakemi Salami

Healer
A word that I associate most with Dr. Amole. Dr Amole has been my doctor pretty much my entire life. He has been involved in all my highs and lows medically speaking. His calm and measured demeanor belied a man who was passionate about life. From the moment you walk into his office his focus became how to get you healed physically and mentally. His demeanor and bedside manner put you at ease so the weight we put on ourselves become’s just a little lighter. God used you to keep my mum alive during trying times and as a family we remain ever grateful. You are a father, husband, brother, and teacher; your loss is felt by every person whom you healed just by being you. You will be sorely missed.

Dr Adeniyi Adeyemi Amole

Dr Amole was the finest medical doctor I have ever known.

He was humble, kind, compassionate, knowledgeable, intelligent and wise. He is healing personified, to him it’s not about money, it’s always about getting you well and healthy and ensuring you stay so. Be you a child, and adult or or advanced in age, from my children to my mum, we all feel comfortable and at ease with him knowing fully well that your illness will meet its waterloo as soon as you see Dr Amole. He loves the people, he loves Nigeria, he is a true patriot indeed.

I have lost count of friends I referred to him when all would appear lost and they are not getting well due to wrong diagnosis or treatment, suffice is to say they all get well at his masterful hands.

He is charity personified, he is more than our doctor, he is our friend, no wonder my family wept for days when we heard about his passing.

Words can not express our deep sense of love and loss at his passing away. He will forever be remembered for good and his name securely etched in our minds for all times. His life, in a Christlike manner, did touch my family and many others for good.

We pray God will succor his family and give them the strength to bear the loss and heal their grief. We are sure he is resting in peace at the bosom of Christ.
Adieu Dr Amole.

The death of Dr Niyi Amole was a rude shock. He was an excellent Physician and a highly skilled Surgeon with compassion and humanity. On several occasions I have referred patients  to Niyi, The feedback from these patients speaks volumes of his surgical dexterity. As a Life Kbite Niyi was soft spoken, gentle, humble and full of social etiquette. Always present at every ceremony, well dressed and elegant with his wife. The medical man power has lost one of the major contributors in Dr Amole, through his Lister Hospital. The KB KLUB and the LIFE KBITES have lost a true, reliable and dependable friend. To his wife and family and friends, we pray that the Lord Almighty will grant them strength to bear the  loss. May the Lord Almighty send helpers to light his path into the peaceful and joyful Luminous Heights Amen.

I met Uncle Niyi in 2006/2007 through Lamide Amole. From the very first time I met him, I realised he was special. I then married into the family and I gained a father. He was always easy to talk to. I never had to call to ask if I could go see him, I had to only show up whatever the situation was.
I'll miss him so much, so will our entire family. We were so looking to his birthday this year but God wanted him with. I will always remember his smiles and eyes!!

God bless you Uncle!!! You were one of the best.

Daddy Amole, hmmmm. Words are not sufficient to describe or express ones feelings about your departure from this planet. So soon! and indeed too early. To me and my family you were the angel of God, sent to support our ministry in a special way. You were such a kind, loving, compassionate doctor that works selflessly in your calling as a medical doctor. Endowed with listening ears and ready to help irrespective of race, tribe, gender or belief at all time. A man of your status with such attributes is rarer. Indeed, you were an ambassador of Christ here on earth. Adieu till we meet at the feet of Christ our saviour.

It's painful looking at your picture and realising that you are no more. You selflessly restored many back to life from their sick beds, so why wouldn't you walk home also? Alas! That was not to be. The Author of Life Divine came for the best of the roses. Who are we to ask 'why'? I pray for Mama, Jumoke and the children to accept what the unquestionable God has permitted. We have assurances that you fought the good fight in Jesus and you won the race. Sleep on in your Lord's bosom in peace till we all meet again at His feet.

OMG!!!! Where to I start.  My own special Brother Niyi!  The best brother in law anyone could ask for. You were gentle meek and humble. You had a listening ear and very compassionate. Why you.!!  You were the best doctor anyone could ask for. I am so devastated hoping that it will all be a dream.

I met you about 29years ago has my brother-in-law and that never changed. Regardless of when my own status changed. You cared for me so much and I felt safe once I consulted you about any medical issues.  You were a teacher and explained any medical situation. . You would laugh at me when I quote "google"

You humility was incredible. A doctor to everyone.  In your office, your white wardrobe was my pharmacy.  Brother Niyi gave his time and love. Extremely generous. . You were a comforter. Where do I go now. This is one big vacuum ooo.

You once told me many years ago if you had a magic wand, you would change certain situations for me. I repeat that now, wishing you could just not go away. Too soon.

I am sooo lost. Rest in Peace sir.

Dr. Niyi Amole-Our Dear Doctor, Father, Friend and Confidant
You cared for us;
You loved us;
You fought battles for us;
You smiled for us;
You treated and assured us;
You were fearless and allayed fears for us;
You were always about us;
And now, still, we know a SAINT is praying for us:
like you said the day we told you to be wary during this period "Aburo kosi wahala, I will be fine"
We know you are fine till we meet again, Adieu from us.

What a painful exit! He was a good man, a quintessential humanist, a compassionate physician, he was humility personified, he touched the lives of so many people, a complete gentleman.
What more can I say
Good night sir!

"A limb has fallen from the family tree.
I keep hearing a voice that says, "Grieve not for me.
Remember the best times, the laughter, the song.
The good life I lived while I was strong.
Continue my heritage, I'm counting on you.
Keep smiling and surely the sun will shine through.
My mind is at ease, my soul is at rest.
Remembering all, how I truly was blessed.
Continue traditions, no matter how small.
Go on with your life, don't worry about falls
I miss you all dearly, so keep up your chin.
Until the day comes we're together again."

*Dr Adeniyi Amole*

From God we came

And to Him we shall all return

A lot of beautiful and deserving things have and would be said about Dr Amole. 6 years ago during the most challenging time of my life I met the good Doctor. He rose to the ocassion and I am able to write this eulogy about him today because of what he did for me. Doctor not only approached his Patient's medical challenges with a clinical and professional efficiency, he did so with a caring heart and like a father. The result is that over the years he transformed from my doctor to a confidant, a father, a friend and a family member. Doctor touched the lives of everybody he met and for all these reasons and more I pray with all my heart that his gentle soul rests in perfect peace with God and his family and friends have the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss

TRIBUTE TO OUR EGBON - DR ADENIYI AMOLE
Egbon, the sad news of your death came as a rude shock to us and our children. You were a caring, kind hearted and compassionate doctor. No doubt, the Nation has lost an exceptional and irreplaceable medical practitioner per excellence.
We met you almost three decades ago when we took our second son to the hospital. You handled those scariest family concerns with composure and assurances. Your warm and caring personality will be greatly missed. Albert Einstein said “ The value of a person should be seen in what he gives and not what he is able to receive”. Dr Amole will be remembered as someone who gave his time, advise and expertise willingly to his patients. He loved God and would always seek the face of God before Performing any surgery. Dr Amole will not only treat us in the hospital, he will also take time to visit us at home to find out how we were fairing. The last of such visits was on the 12th of January 2021, when you came to see your aburo and also say goodbye to our children who were returning to the US.
When we heard the terrible news of your death, my wife, your Aburo, as you fondly called her, broke down in tears asking why, why, Egbon why did you have to leave us this way? Till date she keeps on asking same question. But only God knows why he suddenly took you away from us. You were a doctor, friend and father to many. You were someone we could discuss our personal problems with and be sure of getting a godly advise. Dr Amole we met you as our doctor but ended up as a family. You were kind to a fault, you could never see anyone suffer. Yours was a life that exemplified brilliance, a life that inspired emulation, a life that burned so that others paths were lit. You were a living proof of how fine a person can be. Though you left unexpectedly, it is not the years in a life that counts, it is the life in the years. You came to serve humanity and died doing so.
We express our deepest condolences to your mother, your dear wife Aunty Jumoke, your children, the entire Amole family, friends, Dr Yusuf whom we call your adopted son, colleagues and Staff of The Lister Medical Centre on this tragic loss. We find it hard to say good bye. You will surely be missed. May your gentle soul rest in perfect peace. Amen. Good night the people’s doctor and a gentleman. Goodbye Dr Amole. Sun re o Egbon.

I remember walking in to check on my mom on admission at Lister,  and finding you there with both of you laughing and regaling each other with stories of family and friends and feeling more like I walked into a family visit than a hospital stay!
I find it extremely hard to believe your warmth and fullness of presence is gone. I am forever grateful for meeting and getting to know you. Thank you for sharing yourself and gift so freely with the world.

Dr Amole!!!!! Selfless,  down to earth, amazing personality. Doctor to my whole family, nuclear and extended. Gave hope to us all that we are all healed by HIS stripes. I'm not sure how we will cope or even exist in this world without you.  Your smile, your psychological conversations, your professional diagnosis and touches. I guess God just realised you were too good to be with us on earth.
Rest in peace and power sir. I will miss you, we will miss you, the world will miss you. Adieu sir!
