Life is but a vapour. Everyday that we are in the land of the living, we should be grateful to The Most High God.

My dear Uncle, the news of your transition was indeed bitter.

There are no words left to speak. Adieu Boss. May your gentle soul rest in peace.

From your loving nephew.

GKSWF, BENIN CITY BRANCH
Dearly beloved brothers, sisters, friends and other sympathizers, may glory, honor, thanks and praises be unto Jehovah, through our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, for their love, mercy and care on us all till this moment that we are gathered here for the burial of our beloved brother, Late Bro. Dr. Daniel Eboigbe.
Bro. Eboigbe though without any formal arrangement, played the role of a Patron to the G.K.S.W.F, Benin City Branch. This He displayed whenever the women fellowship embarked on any project. He had the gift to cheerfully motivate and mobilize other brothers to support whatever projects we had at hand, and He would always stay till the end whenever we embarked on fund raising.
Also worthy of mention is HIS charitable work of feeding the whole branch single handedly during the church’s annual Feast of Tabernacles. Even from His sickbed in the hospital, He still fed the church not knowing it was going to be His last.
He was very accommodating, charitable, lively, fatherly, disciplined, generous, caring etc indeed He possesses all that we would have wished for in a patron if we had one, but now He is no more. God knows best and may His will be done always.
The holy Bible says ”the righteous is taken away from the evil to come” Isaiah 57:1
Brother Eboigbe is free from the troubles of life and we believe that He lived a righteous life by the Grace of God. We shall see him again on the day of resurrection by God’s Grace. John 5:28,29; 1 Thesse 4:14,18 and Daniel 12:2.

Death is never easy to accept nor should it be forgotten easily. I’m running short of words to verbalize my deep sorrow on the sudden demise of Dr. Dan Eboigbe. It came as a rude shock when the news reached us. Dr. Dan called me on January 17, 2021 after several unanswered calls to him and I never realized it was going to be so soon. Growing up we looked up to Dr. Dan as a “role model” as many have said and I wanted to be like him when I grew up. From his days at Urbobo College, Hussey College and ABU, Zaria, Dr. Dan was a jewel. I travelled with him and his late friend, Dr. Edewor, from Benin to Ibadan in his final year at ABU. He and Dr. Edewor were catching the train to Zaria. There was never a dull moment on the trip from Benin to Ibadan. I was at Ibadan then attending the school of Animal Health. I worked with Dr. Dan briefly in the Veterinary Division, Bendel Ministry of Agriculture. Still on memory lane the late Dr. Dan made my visits to Benin City, from the USA eventful and memorable. He was such a fun-loving person with a good sense of humor. On his visit to the USA in 2018, he was unable to visit me in North Carolina but promised me he will on his next visit to the USA. Dr. Dan was a remarkable man, excellent businessman and a trailblazer. We read and heard stories about how hard he worked in his life and the joy he brought to many. His memory will no doubt live on through loved ones in the immediate and extended family. Rest In Peace Dr. Dan. He will be terribly missed. He was loved by all of us and will be cherished in our memories forever. Robert Asemota, Winston-Salem, North Carolina, USA

I was sad to hear you were ill and that was followed with the dreaded news that you have transcended after three scores and sixteen years I was devastated but When I spoke with All your children one after the other, I knew you were very much with us, that you are alive as you live-on in their hearts.
Rest in Peace my cousin whom I called Bro Dan.

We shall miss you Bro Dan!
You were our role model right from when you were in ABU Zaria coming home for holidays in Benin Always impeccably turned out, dapper, mellow in deportment, purposeful, soft spoken and very focused.
Whenever I visited from the U.K., you will detail a driver to take me round and if the driver is on another errand, you will drive us and we will gist and if you are not available, you will detail Sister Joy’s car and I’ll drive myself until I imported my own car to Benin.

Bro Dan, we shall miss you!
We are consoled though, because you came, you saw and you conquered. There was never a dull moment in your life, very hard working, on point and ahead. You were always the heart of a party; you touched so many lives happily.
I will not weep as I know you are in a much better place with our Lord.
I pray that your children, family and friends will be consoled

Dr. Eboigbe was a very generous and fun loving man, the life of the party and a friend to all both young and old. There was never a dull moment with him and his funny jokes and yabbings back then. His love and dotting on his children will make you wish he was your dad too. Daddy Eboigbe you lived a great life and I pray Jehovah gives your children and entire family the grace to get through this. Ever smiling daddy, my main guy that year, rest in God's bosom and say hello to my dad and big mama your mum.

The joy that relief me off the pain of your death, was your last encounter with God Almighty and Jesus Christ during the online GKS morning prayer meeting held on the 6th February 2021.
This can not be erase off my memory, it was the best thing I could ever offer and now that you are gone, ,it gives me joy by each day.
The prayer meeting was lead by Minister Joshua Chukwudi, Tsp 111 and 125 were sang ,very meaningful songs.
This was immediately followed by the Text for the day.;"God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?"Numbers 23:19 KJV.He ended it with Tsp 187 part 1 and the closing prayer.
This was immediately followed by the phone speaker reading of Matthew chapter 8 and 9, the lifting up of your right hand and your meditation showed how deep you were with God Almighty and Jesus Christ that day, little did I know you had less than 48 hours to commence your rest.
The good works you have done will speak for you on the day of resurrection, sleep on daddy. Sister Roseline Ediale-Otoide.

What a painful exit! Never expected it happen so soon. I always remember the way you played with me the first time I saw you at Ubiaja 1977/78 can’t remember exactly, at my tender age though. I came on a weekend visit with my late brother doc Tyrone Eregie and his wife. I could still remember how I was greatly afraid when I saw the dog you had then, very big and was waging it’s tail and coming to me, you told me the dog was playing with me and you were able to calm me down, encouraged me to play with it by robbing it’s back. I was so glad when you also became my sist’s husband. A great in-law to the Eregies and a son to my father late eng R.I Eregie. How can i forget how myself and sisters look up to seeing you drive along Ekosodi village at Uniben because we were sure of getting a chicken from you.....
You will be highly missed because you were a father to all and a good giver. God will surely look after your loved ones because of your good deeds on earth.
I pray God rest your gentle soul in peace. Amen

The exit of a General, the leader of the Tuedor family, our beloveth cousin Dr. Daniel Oghogho Eboigbe. What a true leader you were, you ensured that the family stayed together no matter what. You gave the voiceless and weak amongst us the opportunity for a better tomorrow by ensuring that Papa’s ( Omatseye Gbomo Tuedor) Estate was properly and effectively managed to finance our up keep and education.
You were to me, more of a father than even an uncle, you were always there to listen to me, guide and advice me. I cannot forget the good old days at your former house in Okhoro Benin City, the handouts.. the gifts and more than anything else the encouragement and hope you gave me.. you stood in the gap for me as a father..... during my trying times ... my boyhood days and in my first marriage to my beloveth late wife Osasogie Mabel Tuedor Nee Okundaye. I remember vividly during the traditional marriage when I was asked for the bride price and as I reached out to my pocket you held me back and told me not to worry. I will forever cherish your memory Uncle Dan.
This is a sad exit but we give all glory to God Almighty who giveth and taketh...who are we to question The Almighty God.. We love you so much Uncle Dan but God loves you more.
Rest in peace, in the bosom of our creator God Almighty until we meet to part no more my hero Uncle Daniel Eboigbe..

You were a father with such a loving heart. Me and my sisters always look forward to seeing you in Ekosodi back then in our school days. We were sure of getting a life chicken for the weekend stew.

It's heartbreaking to know we will never see or speak with you again.

We miss you smiles and your great words of advice.

You will surely have a great time with pa R.I Eregie in heaven.

Rest in peace great man!

His Life

Biography

February 13, 2021
Dr Daniel Oghogho Eboigbe was born on the 14th of March 1944 at Ubiaja in Edo State to Late Mr Ebose Eboigbe and Late Madam Dora Ogbomo Tuedor. He lived his early life with his mother in Warri where he grew up and attended Hussey College. His love for nature and passion to make a difference saw him embark on a journey to the Ahmadu Bello University in Zaria to Study Veterinary Medicine. He graduated with flying colors and joined the Ministry of Agriculture in the then Bendel state of Nigeria.

He was pivotal in the setting up and implementation of various food production programs specifically in cattle ranching. This provided him an opportunity to travel across Europe and expand his experience in animal husbandry. In the mid 1970s, He decided it was time to put to use all the knowledge he had acquired coupled with learnings from his mother who was a very successful businesswoman at the time to set up a business - Tunivus Farms in partnership with his good friend Late Dr Emma Edewor who unfortunately passed away in a fatal accident a few years later. This led to the dissolution of Tunivus Farms and in 1979 the singularly owned business now Vetco Farms was incorporated, Alongside with Dora-Joy Farms Limited. He would later retire the Vetco farms which was the retail side of his business to later focus on Dora-Joy Farms to specialize in wholesale egg production until today.

Dr Daniel was a family man, hardworking and loved to make everyone around him very happy. He was born into the God's Kingdom Society and was a staunch member of the faith until his death. He dedicated his life to his children and ensured to provide them with love, support and education. Dr Daniel Oghogho Eboigbe was a kind and loving man, he will be dearly missed by his family.

Sleep on General!! You came, you saw, and you conquered!

Rest in peace until we see you on resurrection day...

We love you dad...

Good Night; jolly good fellow.

I came across Dr. Eboigbe in late 2000 as a resident veterinarian with Progress Agricultural Agency.

He was lively, urbane and full of fun. No dull moment with him at all times.

Seeing him a successful veterinarian gave me hope and the inspiration to also succeed as a vet.

He shall be missed in no small measure by the veterinary world.

May God grant his soul peace in eternity, and his family the fortitude to bear the loss.
