- Dear Dreama;

I’m feeling a loss of not being to call you and wishing each other a Merry Christmas.  Lord, I do miss you so.

I know that you will be enjoying the Holidays with your family members in Heaven, but it still does not stem my jealousy of not having you here for Christmas with us.

Enjoy and hug your Mom and Dad for me.

I’m Free

Don’t grieve for me; for now I’m free; I’m following the path God laid for me.  I took his hand when I heard him call; I turned my back and left it all.

I could not stay another day to laugh, to love, to work or play, Tasks left undone must stay that way, and I found that place at the close of day.

If my passing has left a void then fill with remembered joy.  A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss.  Ah yes, these things, I too, will miss.

Be not burdened with times of sorrow, I wish you the sunshine of tomorrow.  My life’s been full; I savored much; good friends, good times, a love ones touch.

Perhaps my time seemed all to brief; don’t lengthen it now with undo grief. Lift up your heart and share with me God wanted me now, he set me free.

 

To Dreama’s Sisters and the rest of her Family;

I can feel your hurt, and I know what that hurt can do; as you know, it is a part of life that we all will face when we meet our Lord and Savior; but we must always keep the memories of our lost loved ones inside in a place that we can revisit anytime that we need to remember them.  We Must Keep our sister and cousin’s memory alive by keeping her in our heart and mind.  We will know that she is there.

I ask all of you to please remember this short piece that I borrow from a very close and dear friend; she shared this about your Aunt Ruby when she passed; and I feel that it fits us and Dreama as well;

"I know it hurts, but you are all strong and we get to keep all those good memories; the ones that no one else took the time to talk about or listen to.

She is in our hearts. She will whisper in our ear.  She will brush our cheek; and she would tell us not to be too sad.”

It is difficult let them go; but they are still with us; only on another plane. We will always be her Family, and she will always love us.

Dreama; you and I had our time together.  It's your time now.  Thank you for all the sacrifices and selfless acts during your lifetime.  It was a GREAT journey; I was so glad to be a part of your life, and you mine.

I thank you for all your wisdom and all that you have given to me and to all those lives you touched each and every day.

You are so loved, and you will be missed.

God Bless you Girl . . . Rest well in the arms of the Lord.
