Grandpa you passed away when I was exactly 2 weeks old.
When you were called on the day I was born, you were singing praises and won’t even stop when grandma asked you to over the phone.
You sang, danced even in your poor health condition.
You were so happy and asked I’m name after late grandma Regina and now you are also gone.
Even though I didn’t get to spend time with you grandpa, i know you are happy & watching over me.
Rest well best grandpa in the world.

Dear Father-in-law

Distance was a barrier for you to be part of our daily life, but I enjoyed the little moments we spent together anytime we got together. Your jokes always made me laugh. I looked forward to visiting you again, but I didn’t know you will be gone soon.
Thanks for the quality of love and life you gave to my wife. I will tell your grand daughter all the funny stories and jokes you shared with me. I will get to see you again someday in heaven.
Goodbye, Papa.

You were my mentor, a father of all and the best papa every child will pray for.
Today, I completly feel empty with your demise dear papa.

Calling you and hearing your voice was one of my favourite To Do’s.
You were always excited to hear my voice and will ask “Is that Doctor”? I will say YES best papa in the world and you will laugh that contagious laughter of yours.
Your words were always powerful, uplifting Papa and your wisdom beyond admirable.
Who do I now call to gain those powerful & uplifting words of wisdom Papa?
You will sacrifice all you had just to give your children & anyone who crossed your path the best to succeed in life, especially educational wise.

Not forgetting all the childhood memories of connecting us with pen friends around the world to exchange letters and gifts, Christmas surprises when you tied candy’s on the Christmas tree at midnight when we all went to bed & tell us Father Christmas stopped by to gift us at night.

I’m happy you completed your work before your final rest.
I’m grateful to God for blessing me with such a great dad you were papa.
You will always remain my role model and I promise to always make you proud, and to let Regina know the sweetest grandpa she had.
Rest in power dearest papa.
Forever in my heart,

Flora (daughter)
