Dr. Michael H. Bojarski of Mullica Hill, NJ, originally from Erie, PA passed away on January 20, 2024 at the age of 74.

He was born to Henry and Irene Bojarski of Erie, PA on October 1, 1949. Mike was the beloved husband of Beverly (née Dougherty) for 43 years. He was the loving and devoted father of Michelle Jones and Anthony Bojarski. Cherished Gramps of Gemma Belle and Trevor John Michael Jones.

He leaves to mourn his loving siblings, Robert (the late Christine), Peggy (David Cottrell), and Richard, his two nephews, Gregory (Kristen) and Joseph Cottrell. He is survived by numerous cousins, brothers and sisters in law and long time friends.

Michael lived his early years on the family farm in Erie. He graduated from Cathedral Prep High School in 1967. His college studies were interrupted by the Vietnam War to which he enlisted in the United States Navy. Michael served as a Hospital Corpsman and Pharmacy Tech in Subic Bay, Philippines from 1969 to 1973, Honorably Discharged.

Michael returned to Erie and earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology from Gannon University in 1976. He continued on to medical school at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and graduated in 1980.

He met Beverly, a registered nurse, as a fourth year medical student while they both worked at Parkview Hospital, Philadelphia.  After their flag day wedding in 1980, they relocated to Gloucester County for Mike to begin his internship and residency. They settled in, raised Michelle and Tony, and enjoyed all of their activities. Michelle began working for her dad as a senior in high school. She was his right hand girl in all the office details. Beverly joined her husband in 1999 working along side him daily, supporting his endeavors and caring for his growing practice.

Dr. B held several medical positions in the area before opening his own private practice, American WorkCare, in 2003. He became an expert in the fields of Internal and Occupational Medicine. He possessed an outstanding work ethic and maintained professional and loving relationships with his long time patients and clients. He thrived on going into the office everyday. He was blessed with a dedicated and loyal office staff. Being a physician was his true calling. He retired on December 29, 2023, having enjoyed the last few months transitioning his patients to the new ownership.

Mike loved spending time outdoors in his tranquil backyard, golfing, watching football, and tending to his koi fish and dogs. His most favorite outdoor activity was offshore fishing with Tony on Naughty Girl. He started and ended every day doing Sudoku puzzles. He was very proud of his little red corvette and was always cranking Classic Rock music, especially Led Zeppelin.

His family was the center of his life. What our family will miss most about Mike is the way he checked in on everyone daily and his contagious laugh. We will forever cherish his genuine, laid back, easy going, and fun loving adventurous personality.

Rest in Peace, Sweetheart

The Best Doctor!

Dr. B was one of the most knowledgeable, trusted, compassionate, caring doctors the good Lord put on this Earth. Many times our visits started with laughter and ended the same way. He was like a father figure to me and I will miss him. He deserved the Florida life and all that entailed. His wife and family deserved to have him longer. I guess God had other plans and I thank God for the gift of “Dr. B”, rest easy Doc, see you in eternity
