Dustin "Dusty" Marquette was born August 22, 1981 in Buffalo, Minnesota to Myron & Kathy (Marsolek) Marquette of Monticello.  Dusty was welcomed home by one brother, Jeremy.  Four years later, Dusty became a proud big brother to twin brother and sister, Derek & Tara.

Dusty attended Pinewood Elementary School in Monticello.  His first few years of elementary school, Dusty lived across the street from the school, and he was able to walk to school with his big brother, Jeremy.  A couple of years later, we outgrew our little house, so Dustin's parents searched for some land on which to build a new house.  Dustin's parents found five acres in Hasty.  For four months, while the new house was being built, Dustin and his family lived with his grandparents, Bob and Marian Marsolek. Dustin was so happy to move to the country where he could ride mini bike, snowmobile and have a big driveway to ride his bicycle! 

When Dustin got a little older, he always enjoyed mowing the lawn. His dream was to have his own lawn business when he graduated from high school.  He saved up his money and, after graduation, he started his business. Dustin had his business for a couple of years, then went to work for Plunkettes Pest Control, a year-round job.

In 2006, Dustin bought a house in Becker, Minnesota. where he lived until his death in October 2009.

Dustin always liked hanging out with his friends and family.  He enjoyed duck hunting, fishing, bowling and recenlty went skydiving.

Dustin will be forever missed by his immediate family - Mom, Dad, Jeremy, Tara, Derek, Rick (step-father) and Katie (step-sister) - and large extended family and friends.
