|Let the memory of Dwight be with us forever|
It is now 2015 an another birthday in heaven makes you 2003-2015, John and I went and go DD and had a cup of coffee in honor of your great love and devotion to Mom (91) and to all of the family especially me. I still treasure the memories and miss you~ Jan-July 24, 2015"
"Daddy, how I miss you. I will always call you Daddy because you always liked it when I called you that (except for the time we were in Kentucky and I slammed the car door on your finger). Anyway, how much we miss you to this day. The birthday parties, Christmas gatherings and trips to Michigan. We know you are happy in Heaven, but we so miss you and remember you today. You were truly a gift from God to all of us. Mom misses you too. Behave yourself up there."
"I do miss Dad. It was good to have him as a Dad, since my Dad had passed away in 1969. He was always cheerful, kidding around, and especially always working hard at something, whether it was 2 or 3 jobs at a time, or later, after retirement, working in his workshop, and helping the elderly people in the trailer park. He was a good Dad and Grandpa!"
"To my dear father,
I miss him so much, he was a wonderful father, a friend, compassionate, witty, and always sneaking out with me (telling Mom) we are going to k-mart, and making a trip to Dunkin Donut! Mom misses you also, and we love you and will see you again someday, until then Dad, I tell all the children, grandchildren, go to Dunkin Donuts, have a cup of coffee and a donut in remembrance of you. It has been 11 years already but seems like yesterday your daughter,
Jan Nelson Vinke"
"Hi to my Dad, Dwight O. Nelson, who would have been 91 today! Happy Birthday! Daddy! your still in our minds, hearts and it does not seem possible you have been gone this long! I know your looking down on us, we miss you and are taking good care of Mom! Love you."
"Dad was always GIVING. He was always looking for something to give you, whether of things he owned, or the many things he made! I love and miss Dad Nelson!"
"Dwight was the epidomy of: "It's more blessed to give than to receive". My brother-in-law was the most giving person i've ever known, and I knd I know that my sister misses him dearly, though he is with Jesus."
"In loving memory of my father, Dwight O. Nelson Sr. who is now with Jesus and has no more pain, sorrow, we all love and miss you dad, an we are taking great care of Mom. She would love to be with you right now but God's timing is not ours. You where a great father, provider, husband to our Mom and we thank you for all you did for us!"
