Born on the coast of Charleston, South Carolina, it was only fitting that this sweet boy be named Dylan, Welsh for "Son of the Sea". He also carries on the middle name Lee, just as I have, his cousins, and his great great grandfather have before him. Dylan was born Friday, June 18, 2004 at 5:00pm. He was a perfect 7 pounds, 4 ounces, 21 inches long, with just enough fuzz on his perfect little head to know it was brown. 

While his life on earth was extremely short, and he was taken from us entirely too soon, he was loved beyond measure. I do not want to go into detail of that horrifying day. I do not want to have to relive each second of that nightmare. Maybe that's a story for another day. But today I just want you to know that he was loved. So very much. And missed even more. There is not a day that goes by that I don't miss holding him and wondering what he'd be like today. I'd give anything to have 5 more minutes with him. But for now, I'll dream of him and miss him and anxiously await the day I get to see him again.
