We Miss & Love You

August 21, 2018

We so miss you, and Michael holds dear to his heart the clock you made him. He just loved how you worked on so many.

The Thanksgivings day fishing and your practical jokes are things and stories that make us smile.

The many memories are flooding back to me. Michael and I miss you and love you so much.

We look forward to seeing you again. Big HUGS

"To live in hearts we leave behind, is not to die." Author: Thomas Campbell

September 22, 2013

Oh how my heart grieves...a Loving, Gentle, Humble Man.

Uncle Earl was an amazing man, his passion and zest for life was always evident. He was a man who lived life fully!

As a young girl, I remember him with a playful nature, feeding our imaginations with mischevious fun.

As a young woman, I remember  him with with strength and compassion for others..a steadfast man in a sometimes up-turned world.

As a wife and a mother, I remember his examples of what  being a  Kind and Loving Husband and Father is.

In his passing, I will always remeber a man who gave freely of his time, his friendhip and his love.

People always say he will rest in peace...I only invision how much better heaven will be for those of us yet to make the journey.  As the original "McGyver"...Uncle Earl certainly will be inventing new creative adventures in heaven.

With all my thanks, respect and love, I wish you farewell.

Love- Geri Jean

Our memories of great times

September 14, 2013

When I think of all the good times, we had with Earl and Joan I am full of wonderful memories.  We were very close cousins and when Earl and Joan got married and came back to Wis. to live, Tom and I lived in Round Lake.  We got together on Sat. nights and played games or cards til the early morning hours.

I remember camping trips with the kids to Apple River Canyon, what fun we had.

Tom and Earl had motorcycles and rode in endouros and did some racing or they would just go out boondocking.

We would go out on New Years Eve to dinner and a show.

When they moved to Grandview, we would see them almost every other week-end. Then we bought a house in a near by town and we would visit back and forth. And again play cards or dominos.

We only made it out to Lake Havasu one time but as usual we had a great visit, Earl will be missed very much, but we still have Joan and hope we can get together now and then.

Gone to soon.

Let the Heavenly Bocci Tournament Begin

September 14, 2013

It has been very hard for me to put into words, how much my uncle Earl will be missed!  My experience however limited by time and distance has always been one of great admiration and love.  Yes he was a tinker, builder, and a problem solver.  Always trying help those around him see solutions.  He was patient , kind, loving, and fun!

When I think of how much he will be missed, instead of crying....I almost laugh.  Sounds strange but true... I see my grandfather ,Tony ( his father in law) and my great Uncle Nick.. laughing and greeting him with open arms in joy. Can you see it?? on a huge green field....

Both Grandpa and Nick trying to get Earl to be their bocci partner!  He he he!

Thank you Earl for being in my life, you have no idea of the impact you had on me.

Till we meet again!!!!!!! Love & Hugs
