It’s hard for me to say goodbye, I will miss that twinkle in your eye,
I was always be proud to call you dad, the best friend a daughter could ever have.

I watched you getting tired and weaker day by day, I held you in my arms as you
slipped away.
A golden heart stop beating now your loving soul’s at rest - a cure was not to be.

You fought so hard for many years and right up till the end,
All the pain and suffering has come to an end

I love you dearly dad which makes it even more sad to say, I could not make you
stay.
An empty heart, an empty chair, my fathers love, no longer there.

Your little Angel Jacqueline whispered in your ear ‘take my hand dad and come with
me’.
