This memorial website was created in memory of our loved one, Eddie Michael, 81 years old, born on June 14, 1939, and passed away on April 18, 2021. We will remember him forever.
Eddie Lewis Michael left this earth on Sunday, April 18, 2021. He was where he wanted to be most in this world when he passed on, in his home in Vancouver WA. In his 81 years on this earth Ed was known as a fisherman, drywall taper, business owner, patriotic American, Gunner’s Mate for the US Navy, Atomic Veteran, musician, photographer and more. He was a fan of fried shrimp, hamburgers, melon, maple nut ice cream, fishing, playing guitar, taking photographs, watching the Seahawks with his girls, gambling and his daughters’ art. He answered to many names including Ed, Eddie, Grampa, Papa Eddie, Dad and Daddio. He leaves behind a long list of people that will miss him forever and strive to keep his good memories alive: the love of his life, Linda Sharon Michael; two daughters (with his first wife, Norma Darlene) and their husbands; Deborah Leah (Eric Turk) and Cynthia Gail (Dennis Strange); five grandchildren, Lonnie Ray, David Anthony, Amber Nicole, Jorden Kaleb and Makenzie Larae; his siblings, Sarah Swanson and Columbus Michael. He leaves behind five bonus children; Shane, Kellie, Stacy, Shannon and Karrie; his bonus grandchildren; Myra, Anthony, Nicholas, Amber, Matthew, Erin, Brandy and Shon; his bonus great-grandchildren Allex, Liberty, Carley, Payton, Jace, Kyla, Kiyson, Presley, Stevie, Baylee, Kade, Aaliyah, Skymarie and Kyler; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and their families. We hope he is on a grand adventure with those that left before him, his youngest daughter Angie (Sharrie Angela Michael); his parents, Charles Wesley Michael and Inez Semler; his brothers Arnold, David, Marion, Clifford, Ole, Richard and Delbert Michael; his brothers-in-law, his sisters-in-law, his parents-in-law and some very good friends.
He loved all his sassy ladies and ended every conversation with “I love you baby.”
Daddio, may your steed always be trusty and your wheels always squeak. Thank you for showing us what a true warrior looks like.
Due to Covid-19 the family has made the difficult decision to forgo a memorial service .
