His Life

My life with my dad when I was growing up with him.

January 7, 2019

My childhood growing up with my dad was pretty good. I love my dad very much. My dad was loving and caring. He was a good man and he worked everyday of his life keeping and helping my mom (Ora) to keep all three of us kids (I and my two brothers Michael Hale Samons and Ernest Samons) in school and he made sure we had clothes, shoes, coats, socks, school supplies, and food to eat at home, hot lunches and cold lunches and ice cream money for school. He did do a few things with us when he had time to do it with us. He loved all of us very much. He was a great loving grandpa to our oldest son David Brian Samons. He retired from working at Fairfax Virginia Landfill and moved all of us from Rixeyville, Virginia down here to the Inland Pacific Northwest Washington State his childhood hometown State in April 1987 and he got sick with his heart attack and he passed away on us October 8th 1993. Now he is up in heaven with God and my mom (Ora) and everyone else that has passed away in my family. He never got to see me get married twice or he never got to see or meet his second son in-law my now husband Matthew W. Seidel. Also he never got to see my youngest brother Ernest get married either. When my dad was young back then he served his time in the Military he was in the Army. I miss him every day.
