I don't know much of his childhood since he was my dad but I will tell you what I do know. His parents were Carrie May and Ernest millwood my dad was born Feb. 5th,1946. He had many brothers and sisters.Later married my Mom Freda Nelms which ended I believ when I was 5 but he and my mom & stepdad remained good friends til his passing.                                             He lived in Blacksburg,SC and was a Clemson and Panther's fan. He loved taking random trips to the Mountians just to get icecream with me and his grandkids he also loved to ride them around on his scooter after losing half of one of his legs to diabities. The grandkids thought that was the bomb.                                                                                                              Some of my favorite chilhood memories are as follows: Going to the races on the weekends and pulling for our favorite Mike Duvall the Flintstone Flyer. Mountian trips for icecream at the 2 story Wendy's in Boone. Walking the Kings Mountian battlegrounds. Eating at truck stops. Going to the movies ( mostly scarey ones ) maybe that is why I am so afraid of the dark and silience LOL.  Friday night football games. Driving down random roads to see where we would end up . Him asking if I wanted to go to the park and if I said yes then he would drive 2 houses away and park in the parking lot and say we are at the park..LOL  Huh  dad a parking lot is not the park but Oh how I loved and now miss his sense of humor and as for the mountians well sometimes we ended up in Kings Mountian and he would shout here we are at the Mountians since you didn't say which mountians you wanted to go to. I could go on forever but I won't those are just a few of my most missed things we will never get to do again.                                He was my heart and I miss him so much and my life will never be the same without him but I will NEVER let his memory die. 

      I LOVE AND MISS YOU SO MUCH DADDY AND UNTIL WE MEET AGAIN ON HEAVEN'S BEAUTIFUL SHORES KEEP SENING ME THOSE BEAUTIFUL RAINBOWS AND BUTTERFLY KISSES THAT LET'S ME KNOW YOU ARE THINKING OF AND MISSING ME TOO.
