ForeverMissed

Edith Cheli (Colanero) passed away peacefully from a long illness on 3/24/2016. Born 8/18/1932 in Paulsboro, lived in Mays Landing. Her sons Mark (from California) and Gregg (from Bermuda Triangle who recently relocated to Mays Landing) were by her side. She now joins her daughter Leah and grandson Adam and parents in a peaceful place.
She was a proud Italian woman, who loved to cook all the time, anything with her gravy and for everyone. Her kitchen was everything to her. She was always a teacher in cooking with all of her varied recipes. Her stove was always on!
She loved her grandchildren Adam, Scott, Lee, Myles, and daughter-in-law Maureen. Her sisters Ann, Evelyn and brother Dominic all were by her side to wish her peace as were other family members.
Mom was and still will be guiding her sons especially Gregg, because he was her baby and will always be under her Italian wing.
She worked at Berkshire Hathaway Real Estate which was her passion.
Also known lovingly as "Mama Ragu", she was a mother to all our friends.
She will be sadly missed but never forgotten!! Mass will be held at a time to be later announced.

One of the nicest people here at BHHS Fox & Roach Realtors. I always looked forward to talking food with Edie. You were never hungry when when she was around. Will miss her.

To My Beloved Little Sister: Your voice is still in my head, and the mem-
ories are engraved in our hearts. Knowing that you are with God and
free of pain and resting with our loved ones assures us of that Circle of
Love. We will miss you forever.................

Dear Mark and Gregg, we are so sorry for your loss, but your mom will live on in our hearts until we see her again. We have so many great memories to cherish - she was a beautiful and unique spirit who had so many wonderful stories about her travels around the world, and we loved to hear them when she came to visit! She is with her beloved daughter again, and that comforts us, as well as with so many of our family members who are so much a part of us. Wishing you love and peace, from the Brooklyn Bunch!

Dear Mark and Gregg, I am sending you love and know Aunt Edie is there now catching up with Leah , Adam, my mom and dad and grandmom and grand pop, uncle Joey and so many more. There is probably a big table with gnocchi and ravioli. They are in peace and welcomed your mom with arms wide open. Think of her everyday and smile. Love cousin Nanci Lou
