Ms. Edith King of West Point, GA expired on Sunday, January 1, 2011 @ her residence.

Ms. Edith P. King was born to the late Elmira and Howard King, Sr. on October 8, 1932 in Harris County, GA. She departed this life on January 1, 2012 at her residence.

Edith confessed her faith in Christ at an early age. She united with Mt. Nebo Baptist Church; she reunited with the Mt. Nebo Baptist Church where she remained until her passing.

She leaves to cherish her precious memories, three devoted daughters, Gloria King (Joe Jr.) Carter, Joyce Ann (Vernon) Askew, Gwendolyn Ann (Curtis) Snell, West Point, GA; one son, Troy (Margie) King, West Point, GA; seven grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.

Interment: Marseilles Cemetery

I would like to express my deepest sympathy to the family on your great loss, I would also like to share a comforting thought from the Scripture with Gloria, Trece & Anne that in the near future our loved ones will live again according to resurrection hope promised @ John 5:28&29.
