Elder Edna Ruth Flowers was born August 26, 1934 in Alexander City, Alabama to the late
Booker Tucker and the late Dorothy Jean Barefield. She was married to the late George Ed Flowers.

She confessed Christ at the early age of twenty-three and joined Alexander City #1 A.O.H.
Church of God. She later become the Pastor of Cedar Grove A.O.H. Church of God. Prior to death she was the Pastor of Bread of Life A.C.O.P. in Kellyton, Alabama.

Elder Flowers departed this life April 22, 2014 at her home in Alexander City, Alabama.

She leaves to cherish her precious memories seven children. Two sons: Mr. George Eddie Flowers Jr. of Montgomery Alabama, Mr. Devarskie (Sandra) Flowers of Alexander City, Alabama. Five daughters: Miss Dorothy Ruth Barefield of Belleville, Illinois, Mrs. Constance (Adolphus) Ware of Alexander City, Alabama, Miss Antissia Flowers of Alexander City, Alabama, Mrs. Ramanyarr (Anthony) Evans of Camp Hill, Alabama and Miss Kimberly Flowers of Auburn, Alabama. She had six special grandchildren: LaKesha Mitchell, Adrian Mitchell, Debrunskie DuBose, Shundrika Washington, Tashara Flowers and Imberly Flowers. She had one sister, Mrs. Bethany (Eugene) Murph of Alexander City, Alabama. Six brothers: William Davis of Sacramento, California, LeoNeal (Juliet) Davis of Alexander City, Alabama, Booker Jean (Claire) Tucker of Montgomery Alabama, Willie Frank (Susie) Davis of Alexander City, Alabama, Robert (Carol) Davis of Skokie, Illinois and Blake (Gail) Barefield of Beach Park, Illinois. She had seventeen grandchildren and twenty-three great-grandchildren. She had a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
