Her Life

The daughter of Mrs. Bertha Johnson Little, and the late Mr. Herbert Little, Mrs. Brinson was born in Omega, GA on August 17, 1932. She was a member of Mt. Pilgrim Baptist Church where she served as a Trustee, with the Culinary Committee, Missionary Circle #4, the Adult Choir and Trinity Circle. She was retired from the Muscogee County School System following 30 years of service as a para-professional at Benning Hill Elementary School. She was also a member of the Cassiopedia Chapter #235 of the Eastern Stars (Modern Free Affiliate), the Willis Plaza Community Watch Program and Voter's Registration Poll Worker. She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, SFC (Ret) Robert L. Brinson, a daughter, Shirley R. Brinson, and a brother, Roy Little.

Survivors, other than her mother, include: two daughters, Barbara Ann Hall and Samira Brinson-Smith (Wayne); three grandchildren, Dr. Shawnte Hall-Kraft (Alfonso, Esq.), Sharece O'Neal (Jared) and Zack B. Hall, II; three great grandchildren, Malkam, Mason and Makayla Kraft;a brother, Samuel Little (Mary); five sisters, Mary F. Byrd, Nettie Brumfield, Doris Harris (Glover), Erma J. Donaway and Mary N. Stokes (Rev. Robert); loving in-laws, Willie C. Brinson (Alma), Cliff Brinson (Johnnie) and Beatrice Jackson; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
