As in the video, I’ll always remember Ed’s smile, big and bright. Ed was a great guy and an even better father. I’m so glad I met Ed at Pathmark and got to witness his marriage to his best friend Jeanette in New Hope so many years ago. It was my pleasure to be invited to his surprise 60th birthday party , what a great day. I’ll miss my friend. My prayers go out to Jeanette and Ed’s girls.

Loved how your Dad treated everyone. Welcomed me with open arms. That was him non judgemental. Just accepted we are who we are. It has been a long time since I last saw him at my brothers funeral. But first thing was to cuddle me and dribble my sadness over him.
So so wishing you all peace. Love to you J,T,T And rest of family. Xxxx

I remember when I was much younger. My father Jonathan and us boys helped wire the house in Haycock. I cherish the memories of Christmas eve going to the Pentecost house and singing with Haycock Church. He had a wonderful personality. My thoughts and prayers are with you through this time.

I don't know where to begin. Eddie was a beautiful person; kind, loving, generous, and caring. There is no greater testimony to his generosity and kindness than how he brought people together at Thanksgiving.

He cared deeply for others and most especially Jeanette, Taryn, Tierney, and his sisters whom he loved from the bottom of his heart. Eddie was the best dad ever to his daughters. He also extended himself to those in need of a dad or a friend. To my children, he was "Uncle Eddie" and not a second cousin.

I have memories of him from our childhood when he came to Forest City to visit, knock on my door, and ask "Is Greg [my brother] home?" I always thought he was so cool and handsome and he was my cousin! I also remember Eddie asking us to start calling him "Eddie" and not his nickname "Teddy." (Sorry for mentioning your nickname, Eddie.)

My memories of Eddie always include his beloved place at Lewis Lake. Eddie brought laughter and fun to everyone's lives, especially at the lake. He built camp fires, pulled kids on tubes behind his boat, and peacefully fished in the evenings.

I am devastated by the loss of Eddie, but I am thankful each day to have known such a great man. Rest in peace, cousin.

I was deeply saddened to hear the news of Ed's death. He will be missed by so many people who's live was touched by knowing him.  I met him when our children started Haycock elementary school so many years ago. I will always remember him as a loving husband, father and friend. My deepest sympathies to your family and friends.

Who Let The Dogs Out! Will forever bring a smile to my sad heart and remind me of Ed, since it became his song at a party long ago. He was a kind, genuine man that made you feel happy to be around him. You will be missed my friend.

Wonderful person. Will never forget the laughter & “go get ‘em” attitude.
He left a presence for us to remember always.

Ed Pentecost was just a name to me for the longest time. I answered a switchboard and would always transfer calls to him. When I finally met him in person I was able to learn about him. Easy going, kind and caring person. So glad our paths crossed in this lifetime. Watch over us all from above Ed. I will keep the Pentecost family in my prayers during this sad and trying time.

I met Ed when I started working at Cayuga Pipe, and while I changes my position with the company, I often saw Ed in my travels. When I settled back down in the office in Telford, I was glad to see that he was there as well. Ed was a wonderful guy who always asked about my family and checked in to see how I was doing. He will surely be missed. I wish to send my deepest sympathies and condolences to his family.
