Edward Bruce Sharp, 61, of Mullica Hill passed away on Wednesday, July 10, 2013. Born in Camden, NJ, Bruce was a graduate of Clearview Regional High School and a longtime employee of Delaware Valley Wholesale Florist. He was an avid fan of music, Irish culture and history but his great passion was the restoration of antique fire engines. His collection included a fire engine once owned by the Pitman Fire Company. He was a member of the Elks Club of Clayton and past member of the Harmony Fire Department of Mullica Hill.
He is survived by his son, Brett Sharp (Kelli) of Gloucester City, NJ; daughter, Sharon (Sharp) Hampton (Wesley) of Clayton, N J; grandchildren, Jesse, Madison, Dakota, Matthew, Jonathan and Sophia and one great-grandson; sister, Lois Maxam (William) of Coronado, CA, brother Michael (Beverly d) of West Chester, PA. and aunt Mary Frances Valente (Anthony d). Bruce was preceded by his parents, Frederick M. and Marian Eileen and brother, Robert W.
Services and burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers, contributions to the E. Bruce Sharp Memorial Scholarship Fund at Gloucester County College, Sewell, NJ, would be appreciated by the family.
