Edward Angelini, “Ed”, 74, of Mullica Hill, NJ; formerly Gibbstown, NJ and retired employee of Mobil Oil Corporation, passed away on September 18, 2022.

Ed was predeceased by his parents, William and Bruna, and brother Robert. He is survived by his beloved wife, Maria, his brother William, treasured son Edward and his 3 fur babies, Willie, Lenny and Izzie and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Ed served his country in the United States Army and was stationed in Germany for four years.

Ed was an entrepreneur owning and operating an Antique shop and Deli in addition to selling Real Estate. Taking care and working in the yard was his pride and joy. He poured his heart and soul into keeping his property pristine. When he wasn’t in the yard, he was in the kitchen cooking. He especially loved his time at the shore, playing horseshoes and socializing with great friends.

Everyone who knew Ed always said he was a great listener and always made you feel welcomed into his home. Ed was full of positivity and happiness. And even after just a single conversation, folks would say “you couldn’t meet a nicer guy.”

He was devoted to the Family Rosary and his faith and wasn’t shy about sharing it. He was a light to all.  You could always count on Ed for prayers.  He was his wife, Maria’s soulmate, best friend and loved dearly by her.  He will be missed immensely by all.

Family and friends are invited to his viewing Monday, September 26 from 10:30 am to 12 noon at the Catholic Community of the Holy Spirit Parish Center, 17 Earlington Avenue, Mullica Hill, NJ 08062 where Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 12:30 pm. Burial will follow at Gloucester County Veterans Memorial Cemetery, located at 240 North Tuckahoe Road, Williamstown, NJ  08094.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Ed to Relevant Radio, 680 Barclay Boulevard, Lincolnshire, IL 60069 or EWTN, 5817 Old Leeds Road, Irondale, Al  35210.

All the FaceTimes and phone calls this past year with you and Eddie were so treasured. My cuz was an “eventful” kid and teenager. Who turned out to be one of the most calm, trusting and faithful people I have ever known. Proud to be his cousin. I hope that you find solace and faith in his passing on to a greater place with God and our family predeceased before us.  I “told” Ed the other day to please give my mom a hug and kiss for me.  Growing up next door to each other as kids was never a dull moment with him. Billy and all of us cousins know…. This past year was rough for you Maria and now you can truly be sure where he is!  Happy and healthy!  To my cousin Billy, been a rough year for you also. Nevertheless remember that your prayers were answered and you are never alone. Love you both!!  Ann

Dear Ed (Angie),

At the rehab center you said you wanted to write me a love letter. Our whole life was a love letter. Your love for me was so unconditional. I was blessed to have you as a husband. You were a great man. I will miss hearing you call me Princess. I miss you deeply already. I love you immensely. You will "always be on my mind and forever in my heart."

Love your Princess, Maria.

P.S. Our fur babies, Willie, Lenny & Izzie loved you and miss you, also.

Ed was such a kind, dedicated, thoughtful, sweet person who loved his family. Maria you were truly the apple of his eye. He stood by you as such a dear husband and confidant. The way he cared for you and your mom and was always there when you needed him. He was a blessing to everyone who knew him. We are all fortunate to have known him. He will truly be missed. Sending prayers of comfort to you and your family. May loving memories bring you peace.

Hard to write this...Sweet, kind Ed-a true gentleman-who never had a bad word to say about anyone... smiled when he talked about his "Ree" and the
"kids" (his stories about Izzie barking at him and making him chase her around the yard lol...I'm sure though, that LuLu ran to him-and he ran to her!) and the shore/beach walks, and cocktail hour...Cheers to you Ed, for a life well lived-and for making it a better place to those who knew you. You will be so missed. xo

Maria…. I will always remember Ed through your eyes as a loving and kind husband. When I first met him, he was outside working on his backyard and the dogs we’re running around him.

Sending prayers and hugs. Ed will be missed by everyone who new him.
