Evans, Edward L, 89, Columbus, GA, died Wednesday, April 8, 2015.

Mr. Evans will be laid to rest with military honors at Parkhill Cemetery on Monday, April 13, 2015 after a Eleven O'Clock A.M. funeral service at the Chapel of Progressive Funeral Home, Inc.

Father George Gonzalez will officiate.

Visitation 1:00 til 3:00 P.M. today at the funeral home.

The cortege will depart from the residence Monday at 10:45 A.M.

To the family of Mr. Edward Evans, Be encouraged on today lift up your eyes and look to the hills from whence cometh your help. Your help cometh from the Lord which made heaven and earth. Yes Mr Evans will truly be missed. Always with a story to tell, full of wisdom and a loving person, but know that he fought a good fight he have finished his course and have kept the faith. He lived a full life and now he is at peace. So I say rejoice, rejoice, rejoice. We love you Liz, JB, and Israel Berry.
