Ed retired from the Air Force, he continue his career at Luke Air Force base as a civilian. When he finally decided to retired for good, he had a total of 44 years with the Air Force, He was so proud to tell everyone his branch of service was AIR FORCE. Good things happened to Ed while in the service. He met his wonderful wife Jane, They celebrated 48 years together.
