One final loving "Good-Bye" to my sweetheart. I shall never forget you and wish we might have had more time together, but we did enjoy every minute we had together. You were always so caring and making sure I was comfortable. I'm extremely sorry to lose you, but glad you are no longer in pain. All my love goes with you and I miss you every day.

Ed was the most thoughtful, caring, man I've ever known. He loved people and everyone loved him. He dearly loved his kids; he told me many tales of their many fun camping trips, as well as other activities. He enjoyed the outdoors, which included hunting, fishing, skiing, and gardening. His one real passion was flying.

He was justifiably proud of building and flying his own plane.

I was glad to be able to paid a surprise visit to Ed in May with Mother Wood. We were all dressed up after our Ladies' Tea Party, the expression and happiness on Ed's face was priceless! He was beaming the whole time during our visit and that is how best I would like to remember him. Not to mentioned when I first met him last year at the Wood's family reunion, a very dashing 90year old!

My Father was an amazing man, an unusually strong man. He was a doer and he loved life. He was not idol but always shaping his life. He was a loving Father, Aviator, Artist, and Adventurer. He loved beauty and nature and taught his children to do the same. He enabled us to see and do many things. He endowed me with his artistic gifts I cherish. He will be sorrowfully and forever missed.
