Edward Richard Lawless was born on April 2, 1941.  He married Joan Frances Benanti in September 1965.  He has two daughters, Annette Marie and Joan Mae. He also has two grand-daughters, Kate Alexa and Diana Michelle.

My father struggled greatly with depression and alcohol.  Sadly, he moved on from our family many years ago. He began a new chapter with Jeanette.  He was loved and cared for in his next chapter for many, many years.  That will be her chapter to write.

Although I did not maintain a relationship with my father, I was saddened to hear that he passed away after a struggle with lung cancer on December 9, 2018.

I wish him peace and love on his journey.
