Edward William Carr Jr., aka "Buzzer" was born in the Bronx, NY.  He was the youngest altar boy at St. Merici RC Church, attended Arlington High School
and enlisted in the Navy during the Korean War 1948-52 and served on the
USS Boxer (CV21).

Ed was hired on at IBM Poughkeepsie, NY and worked on Project HIGH where
he met his wife, Esther and they married on April16, 1955 in Holy Trinity RC Church with Msgr. Leo Gregg officiating.  They honeymooned in Washington, DC.

On August 7, 1956 their first born a son, was born.  He was named after his Daddy; Thomas Michael, Stephen James, Mary Eileen, Joseph Francis and
Kathleen Marie followed and moved to Whaley Lake, Holmes, NY.

Ed and Esther, both IBM'ers, transferred with the "Back To The Field Movement"
to Cleveland, OH.  Four years later they again moved to Atlanta, GA.  From there
they were transferred again to Boca Raton, FL where they both retired together
on May 1, 1985 and moved to Fightingtown Creek, McCaysville, GA.

Ed was a p/t employee at Publix for a period of 7 years in Alpharetta, GA.
On August 31, 2003 they both moved to Dawsonville, GA where they lived
until Ed's passing on January 6, 2012.

Ed's wife is now living in Buford, GA.
