On Wednesday January 02, 2019 Edwin Leigh Bailey, Transitioned from this world in gaining his wings. Edwin was born July 21, 1946 in Douglasvillie GA. To the late Dewitt and Dosha Shackford-Bailey and also proceeded in death by his youngest daughter Monica Louise Bailey.

Edwin was a graduate of East Teck High in Cleveland Ohio on June 19, 1964, and then enlisted in to the Air Force on August 14, 1964 where he served as a Telecom system control specialist attendant; he served for four years before ending his service on August 13, 1968. Edwin was employed as an Electrician tech. at Diebold for 9+ years. On September 12, 1977 he started his career at Good Samaritan hospital as a Computer Technician/Electrician/ maintenance Supervisor for 30+ years before retiring in 2011.

Edwin was a loving husband, father, and a man that loved and cherished his three grandchildren.He was a really big fan of the Cleveland brown and Ohio state buck eyes.

Edwin is survived by his loving wife Ruby Lois Bailey his 2 daughters Danette Leigh Bailey, Sonya Lynn Bailey, 3 Grandchildren Kyrstine Leiann Bailey, Zennaya Marie Bailey and Caleb Leigh Bailey. His sister Dorthea Utsey(Cleveland Ohio) four brothers Dewitt Bailey Jr., Anthony Bailey(Stephanie), Eric Bailey, Johnny Bailey(Cleveland Ohio) and a host of family and friends.
