I have many childhood memories  of this amazing man but the one thing that stays with me is the tone of his voice. He had the most strong and powerful tone to his voice that made people sit up and listen, but for me it was the most gentle and soft sound to a child's ear. He would call us from St Thomas and all I would hear is "Hello Grandaughter how are you" and my heart would smile. 

I am going to miss his voice.
