My dearest Aunt Effie, what a blessing and privilege it was to have you as a part of our family. You fought a good fight and won the race. You left a mark in our hearts, that nothing will ever erase. Know that you will never be forgotten and always loved by all of us in the family. Rest in peace.

I am very sorry to hear of the passing of Effie Chapman. Even though I only met her a few times I felt like I knew her. My mother, Roberta Wilkerson, who taught at T.C. Martin was very fond of her and always spoke highly of her.

I am so sorry to hear of Effie's passing. We worked together at Eva Turner Elementary school. She will be missed.
