So sorry for the passing away of Madam Ekoto Moore, whom though never met me in life, yet played a very significant role in my Christian life through her son, Pastor Gregg Moore. Brother Gregg as he's famously called was the first person to ever directly witness to me to introduce me the the Born-again experience through Christ Jesus at the old Federal School of Arts and Science (the former FSS), at Victoria Island, Lagos. Knowing Christ and living in total surrender to His will and purpose for me in this life has been my greatest accomplishment. For this heaven will record this as an achievement by one of Madam Ekoto Moore's children. Adieu

Madam Patience Ekoto MOORE
May we start by saying she is the very first daughter in-law to grandfather Sir William MOORE. In life she was blessed with just 6 children: 3 boys and 3 girls, with girl Sista Bose as first born, next were all the boys: broda Tokunbor (aka Henry), broda Ayiri (aka Irving) & Oris (aka Patrick), who she eventually sent for further studies abroad in London, Hamburg and Hamburg; followed by the last two girls: Tosanwunmi (aka Evelyn but popularly known as Baby) and Patience the baby of the 6 also known as Roli. The first went to Ile-Ife Girls High School (Bose); Hussey College Warri (Henry); Igbobi College Yaba (Ayiri). She also had other sons and daughtersfor example, Muyiwa (aka Anire), Omaseyin (aka {Prophet Daniel of the Bible}, Feyi (aka Gbubemi) and Gregg (aka Onoghoete) to mention 4. Mama was a classical business woman, an Enterpreneur per excellence and until home bound never once joked with her church attendance expecially on Sundays though she must have attended some week day Services too in her chuch. The announcement today at 4.01 PM (11.01 PM Nigerian time) was a shock with the news that she died last Sunday February 20, 2021. It could have been thought that she wouldn't but would go in the Rapture at the 2nd Coming of Christ but death prevents so many to depart this earth via the Rapture. This woman was good to me and I suppose to many others too - not just awon omo oko; and to very many she was Gregg Moore's mom. May Almighty God receive your gentle* and loving soul in Paradise in Jesus name Amen. Me think her death at 94 is a great loss to the Itsekiri people in Lagos as well as to the group of ladies in Nigeria Sir Ebenzer Obey called Cash Madam(s); the likes of Bisi Edionsere. Adieu Mama Ekoto
