Martha, I have been trying to find you. When I found this Obituary for El, I was so saddened. El was such a good man. I remember all the fun we had at the Lions' activities especially those in Hawaii. I am in the same situation. I too lost my Tom 4 years ago. I would like to reconnect. Sylvia Colton

Thanks Dad for always taking me to campsite on the back of the pikipiki with you. I would always be so excited on Friday, waiting for school to finish to race home and get ready. I would lean my helmet on your back and almost fall asleep back there. Once we would get to campsite we would start fishing. Best times ever. I always miss those days.

Martha, Seb, Mo and Becka such a loss. It was just a few weeks ago I visited with El on the front porch solving the world's problems and particularly the problems of TZ. Will there be a funeral, I have already checked flights. El told me about the history of his family and the several homes in Moshi and that in TZ the property flows to the youngest child to assist in caring of parents.

El lived his life out loud, and was an example to all of us. He carved out his own path, including an unconventional marriage, which was an inspiration to us as we began our own life together. Our family will miss him deeply, but let's all carry on his zesty spirit. - Tim, Joanna and Zach Baer
