Elaine is originally from North Stonington, Connecticut, graduating from Wheeler High School and went on to excel in the field of music and art. Elaine is survived by her husband, Michael Joseph of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, her mother, Marianne Stokes of Colchester, Connecticut, as well as six siblings – Patricia Wagner (John) of Colchester, Connecticut, Nancy LoPriore of Hope Valley, Rhode Island, Tami Gaudreau (Gilles) of Plainfield, Connecticut, Michael Stokes (Laurie) of Groton, Connecticut, and Julianne deMedici of Las Vegas, Nevada. Elaine also leaves behind many nieces and nephews.

Elaine was predeceased by her brother, Shawn Rene Stokes (age 7) and her father, Robert Malcolm Stokes (age 89). Her sister Christina Stokes (age 57) passed in August 2022.

Elaine Joseph had an extensive career history in management, marketing, promotion, and advertising. Prior to the creation of Artblend, she worked with several leading companies in the music and entertainment industry as well as major retail stores, including Transworld Entertainment, New England Video, The Musicland Group, Compact Disc World, Blockbuster Video, and Victoria’s Secret. She received multiple awards and recognition for her record-setting accomplishments.

Elaine was also involved in animal rescues and loved her adorable Maine Coon cats...Snub, Squeeky, and Minchy.
