Sitting here in tears thinking...what a Wonderful Pastor & Father! Words could never express how much I Love You! When you prayed for me you would always say "give her the desires of her heart"... THANK YOU!!! God gave us an Angel when he gave us "YOU"! Your purpose and mission was complete so God called you home. I Love You and I'll never ever forget you. Continue to look down on us! <3

Your wisdom, guidance, loving concern and encouragement meant so much. My prayer always for you was God's ever refreshing touch on yours and the First Lady's lives. You were a man, who though small in statue, stood tall among men - a hero in my eyes. I miss you so much and there is so much I would like to share with you and have you give me words of encouragement and guidance.

Elder Wilson was not just my Pastor but he was a father to me. He was a true role modle of holiness. Pastor not only encouraged me but he also corrected me when I was wrong. Even now when I have moments of despair, I can hear my Pastor singing "I need thee O I need thee." love ya

I fell in love with the Wilsons as a little girl. I grew up remembering Elder Wilson taking Brenda and I to the Celestial Echoes choir rehearsal & singing "Standing On the Promises of God," on Washington Temple COGIC radio broadcast. I loved this man of God and his lovely family.

Once you had told me

When you were gone
I'd pick up the pieces
I would go on

But you forgot to mention
One tiny detail
Somethings aren't easy
And sometimes I might fail

There's times when the world
Seems to rest on my shoulders
Not another year wiser
Just another year older

I try to recall
All

“No Tears In Heaven”
They say there are no tears in Heaven,
But that must be wrong today.
Because you took part of my broken heart,
When you went away.
I know my tears must have followed you,
How else can it be?
My Spirit feels broken,
‘Cause you are no longer here with me.
I cried to the Heavens,

Leave a Tribute

Light a Candle
Lay a Flower
Leave a Note

Memory

March 27, 2013

I remember when my grandmother passed away, Pastor and First Lady Wilson met us at the hospital, my mother was so broken and hurt, because her death was sudden. I remembe her holding my mom like a mother would and Pastor Wilson offering a word of prayer. He would always say "The Hedg-e-bess" family. My uncles adored him as their pastor. I loved to see him kick up that leg on the podium and throw that handkerchief. He may have been small in stature, but he stood tall in God. And no one could sing those old songs like he could. He is truly missed and never forgotten!

Wishing You Could Be Here

May 16, 2012

On June 1, 2012, I will be retiring from the Town of Plymouth with 25 years of service.  My children will be honoring me with a dinner on June 9th, and I wish My Pastor was here.  He has always shared in the big events of my family - simply because he was family.  For every occasion, he would show up with his "beloved Lou" whom we also love.  He was the greatest Pastor in the world, and my family will always hold the memory of him in our hearts.   That smile, that wink, that way of always making you feel special - no matter what walk of life you came from - that is why he meant so much to me.  Yes, you are gone - too soon, but I know that God loved you much more than we.  Take care of my mom and my other family members up there in Heaven, because I know you all are having a holy ghost good time, just enjoying Jesus!!!  Love you much, Pastor.
