Her Life

My wonderful mother

March 5, 2014

This lady was one of the nicest women you could ever meet, she loved her family, she was a wonderful wife, and a wonderful mother to her 5 children, money was tight but her and dad made sure we didnt go without, we were brought up in a christian home, went to the Salvation Army every week, and our mum's actions spoke louder than her words, she didnt have a lot to say, but by the things she did she stood out in the crowd,

I can remember growing up and my parents taking into their home tramps and people off the street and giving them a meal and a bed, she had an heart of Gold,

I am the person i am today because of the influence my mum had on my life,

she never judge anyone, she always looked for the best in people, you would not hear taliking about anyone behind their backs, she was not evil or malicious, she was a gentle, loving and very kind lady.

I feel honoured to have been alble to call her my mum,

She married my dad when she was 16yrs of age and she told me that people told her that it wouldnt last, well 53yrs together and 5 children, they proved those people wrong, they had their rough times, but they stayed strong in their faith and their love for each other.

Dad now has Alzheimers and  he talks abouot mum often, it is so sad to see him this way, He may have forgotten lots of things but he knonws wher he met mum,

Our mother was the best we could have ever dreamed of,

thank you mum for all that you did for us, Love you always xx
