TREASURES OF TIME
LIKE IT NEVER PASSED."
"Dearest daddy, it is a year today that I got the dreaded phone call while at work that your long running battle with your illness was over. Ever since that day, I have missed you always, more so today as I am at work with the same staff members which has brought back the overwhelming sense of loss that I felt a year ago.
A friend of mine who recently lost her dad asked me how I managed to get over loosing you? I told her that I would never ever get over your loss for as Iong as I live because you were the greatest father anyone could have wished for.
My gentle daddy, continue to rest in the care of our Lord. Amen. Your Sariki"
"It was a year ago that Zubs placed his hands on my shoulder to gently inform me that you had passed away that Easter Monday morning. My legs gave way as I was in shock asking him if it was an April Fool's joke and running frantically to get my phone to call and confirm. Even though your health had been going down it was still unreal to me. It has been a year of ups and downs. Some days filled with laughter, some with tears. We thank God that has seen us through this year and will continue to see us through the coming years without you until we meet to part no more. Continue to rest in the bosom of our Lord and Savior. We miss you so much. Nwada"

God’s speed and rest in peace sir.
Much agape love, Doyin Alugbin."
"You were by all standards the greatest man I met in my adult life. Generous, gracious, accommodating of all, full of integrity and above all, very humble. You accepted me and loved me as your own. I feel very blessed to be your daughter in law. May God grant you eternal rest daddy. You will forever be missed"
