I just saw a rosette spoon-hill crane yesterday. I never see them here on the east coast. Those were Aunt Betty’s favorite. I think that was her waving to me from heaven. She was such an incredible lady and I think about her all the time. She is sorely missed!

Betty...I was reminded you past four years ago today. Wow does time fly. I hope George is by your side now and you both are watching over your family and friends. You are both missed. God Bless.

On the way back from a 24 drive, I sang the whole song to her, I pictured her rolling her eyes at me, I saw her beautiful smile as she grinned at my foolishness. I wonder if she heard me, I talk to her everday, every night, she never answers me. I'm still hollow inside.

What a blessing is was Betty to have you in our lifes. You had a heart of gold a soft spoken voice and the strength and courage every women should have. We met through our kids and the friendship grew stronger and stronger.  You are missed and loved forever..

Jim and I meet Betty and George back in 1972 when we moved to Lake Hopatcong and they became our first friends. We did so much together from going out every Saturday night, dancing our feet off to all hours, to taking turns at each others homes playing poker, tobogganing, camping trips, Great Adventure with the kids, motorcycle relay races and cruising the Caribbeian. Betty was always ready for a good time and loads of laughs and if you needed a dance partner she was at the ready. Betty was very kind, good hearted, fun and always ready to help if you needed it. Her door was always open. Though our relationship was interrupted through their move to Florida, our move to a different part of NJ and the business of life we were fortunate to reconnect. It was like we never skipped a beat. I will miss your laugh, your smile and a really good dance partner. My trips to Florida will never be the same my dear Betty. Again it is life interrupted, but we will see each other again dancing on the clouds of heaven.

I will never forget the energy that Betty brought to a room! She just glowed. Even in her final weeks, which I feel blessed to have been able to see her, Betty was radiant and, of course, as sweet as could be. I will never forget the RV adventure to my wedding reception, Aunt Betty! May you rest in peace.
I wish all of those who grieve for Betty to also celebrate her life, her vibrancy and her strength.

It was always a special treat for us when Betty was there rooting for Kane and the team on the baseball field. Her happy go lucky sweet demeanor was always present whenever we were blessed with her company. We will greatly miss you Betty. Love, Wendy, Andy, Zac & Lindsey

Betty and I were cousins, but more than that we were best friends. When I was young, Betty would walk me to school in NYC. Due to family issues we were separated for many years. In 1983 we were reunited and it was an instant bond. Our conversations and visits will always be treasured. We would take long walks on the beach. I would search for shark's teeth and Betty would try her best to find them, but never did. When I walk the beach now, I know she will be besides me and in my heart forever.

The first time I met Betty 28 years ago it was Christmas Eve. She greeted me with a huge dimpled smile and a great warm hug. I knew that I was immediately accepted into their family. She always had time to listen and wanted to be apart of our lives. I will never forget her easy laugh and zest for life. She taught me how to be strong in horrible situations, and to move along with the attitude that "no one has time for that!" I will remember all the walks on the beach in Ft. Meyers early morning to catch the Dolphins swimming and picking out perfect shells. I will remember her calling me in July to get the kids sizes so she can start Christmas shopping. I will remember that no birthday, or anniversary passed that she didn't recognize without a thoughtful card. I will never see anything Betty Boop without thinking of her. Mostly I will remember her constant outpouring of love for me, Ray, Jenna and Joey. I will miss her terribly, but I know we will meet again one day in paradise because without a doubt she went straight there.

I met Betty 16 years ago when Shannon moved next door to me. I quickly realized what an amazing woman she was. There was nothing she wouldn't do for her family or others. She became the Nana to all the kids in the cul de sac, especially mine. She always had a smile, a nurturing hug, or a look when you did something wrong. My favorite memory is seeing her and George sitting outside in their chairs watching the kids play and George bird watching and always getting a huge smile from her. I will forever miss that chair and that smile. Rest in peace Betty, I love you and we will miss you.... <3

Betty, you touched so many lives with your kindness and warmth. You were so supportive and caring to my children through the years and I know that all of us considered you the neighborhood "nana." Kane, Theron and Pierson are so blessed to have had you in their lives every day and the exceptional kids they are today is surely a product of growing up with so much love around them. Rest in peace, sweet Betty. We will miss you.
