Happy belated birthday to my beautiful grandma. She was a light as bright as the sun to whoever she touched in her life and beyond. Thank you for being such a wise and loving figure for me during the first 16 years of my life. I greatly value and miss your time on earth with us but I am aware that the Lord has bigger and better plans for your beautiful soul.

Happy belated birthday Grandma ❤️❤️❤️

MY MOTHER FOREVER
This is a day I never wished to ever come, but is destined to come
This is a speech I never wished I will have to make, but here I am making it in the most unusual and painful circumstance
MAMA, This is not how we agreed and I was still to come and see you alive and in good shape that you were until my only other older sister passed away in February this year. And you said you will wait until I come. Hmmmm But little did I know how sore and broken you were with her death and barely a month afterwards, you were taken from us in such doubly painful manner. I remember your last words on the day before you passed on were –“THE LORD IS GOOD and IT IS WELL”. Indeed Mama It is Well
I remember how you thought us to remember the child of whom we are and always show our friends to know who we are. Also, that we should not to eat with all fingers, to preserve some for the future. I followed all your advise and deeply thank you for all you were to me. But your death has caused Gold to tarnish. “ Ojo ti Mama Ku ni Wura Ola Baje”
You were the strength of life, the rock of our family, the gentle heartbeat to us your children.
You worked hard for yourself, your family and many others that came through your door for their betterment and with God your strength you delivered for many from far and near, Many of whom are here to witness your life celebration and passage to eternity.
Please as you go, great my Baba, Sister Yemisi , Sister Rolayo and all that have passed on before you. We hope that one day we shall have the grace to see you again to part no more. Mama OOOOOO.
I refuse to blame this wicked world and effect of the current world plague or better referred to as the COVID-19 Pandemic, that has incapacitated us to the extent that we your surviving children and many that ought to be physically present to bid a final farewell cannot make it. But I know that in your gentle forgiving spirit you will understand and allow the star of your life to continue to shine through us.
As I talk about you, I shed tears but really we should not speak about you with tears in our eyes. Because the thoughts of you should not be sad.
I want to allow the memories of the times we shared to give us comfort knowing that our lives have been touched in so many ways by you and thus fuller and richer because of you and your teachings.
Mama OOOO, There is something about losing you that is permanent in a way that cannot be expressed. It is a wound that will never quite heal.
I love you every day of my life and reach out to you virtually every week to check on you and your welfare and just to have a little banter for old time sake. You always end our conversation with prayer and these words” We should teach our Children be close to God the way I have shown you about God” I will forever remember those words and have consistently passed it on to my children and I thank you! Thank You and THANK YOU again for all you have been in my life. “Tani ma ro temi fun nisiyi, afi Baba loke Oluse ohun gbogbo”
Now, I will miss you every day all the rest of my life because a love as powerful as yours Mama leaves it’s own marks.
To have been loved so deeply, even though you are now gone will give us some protection forever.
Iya mi Iya O ti oba do run ma jokun ma jekolo. Ohun ti won je ni kio o ba wo je Ooo.
Odigba! Odigbere!! Odarinako!!! Osi tundi Oju ala. Mo si fi yin sile fun Olorun lati se itoju titi aye ainipekun, Sun Re OOoo. Amin
