Today you would have been 89! It's hard to believe it was 2 years ago this month that you transitioned from this earthly plane. Yesterday, when Dad took his final breath, I'm sure your essence became even brighter. Your laughter and love continue in my heart. Thanks for that.

I was so saddened to get the news of Betty's passing. She was such a special lady and she nurtured me when I first worked at the health department. Her wonderful sense of humor and joyous laugh will always be remembered. We shared work stories, dog stories, art stories, but whatever the tail she always made time to listen. I will miss you and thanks for enriching my life. Susan Ostaseski

Betty was one of the dearest friends to our whole family. She was always smiling and happy and great to be around. Her friendship with my mother Alice Gansauer was a very special part of my mom's life. Although I had not seen her much in several years, I thought of her often with love. I will miss her. I'd like to send special love and sympathy to Bill, Michael, Buster and June.

Words cannot express all of the gifts I have received as the Grand Daughter of such an amazing woman. The greatest dreamer I have ever known, I am elated in knowing that she can finally be everywhere she ever wanted to be, with everyone she loves - all at the same time!

Aunt Betty always made me feel special, loved and safe as a child and then as an adult. Her passing leaves a hole in our hearts.

What an honor it was to have had the chance to have Betty in our lives. The Houchin's were the heart & soul of Jeffrey Dr. Betty was the most loving, gentle, kind & courageous woman and gave back strength to those who needed it most in ways that just made you laugh. You will be missed our dear Betty. Thank you for sharing your heart with us.
